The room was very comfortable, including the bed and furnishings. The location is ideal, at the university sites and at the highway crossroads.

I was surprised to discover that there was no in-room information about hotel accommodations, neither printed welcome material nor QR code. I had to search online for the hotel website and even then finding the link to amenities, check-out time, et al., was difficult. There was also no offer of bathroom towel refreshment on the second day.

This hotel is so nice!! The staff is always great, the people are always kind, the rooms are always clean and inviting. The price is just right! I have to come to south bend to see my husband because he’s working here and I always try to stay here at this hotel because its so nice and quiet and it’s just the best hotel I’ve ever been in. There is absolutely itching to dislike about this place.

There is nothing bad to say about this hotel. It’s a very wonderful hotel.

The staff was AMAZING, 2 young women were at the desk and I cannot say enough about how professional, efficient, friendly and Great they were! The manager needs to know how wonderful they were! So helpful and very kind demeanor's. I locked my keys in my trunk and they were right on it to assist me. Location was easy to find. Check in was quick and painless. Room was clean and comfortable. There was plenty of space for my family of 4. Room itself was pretty quiet even with the hustle of people getting to breakfast early. Staff was very friendly and quick to accommodate any issues we had. Overall location was great, made it easy to get to and from anywhere in the surrounding area. Will stay here again, and recommend to friends and family.

We stayed for 3 days and had breakfast each morning. We do wish there was a little more variety with the hot breakfast, and maybe a pork free sausage option.

My group of 3 friends were in the area to attend activities related to the Eucharistic Pilgrimage that took place at Notre Dame and St. Mary's . Highlights of our 2 day trip was the free Musical Play held at Laughlin Auditorium and our time with the shuttle driver that transported us to Notre Dame and back for Mass and the Eucharistic Procession that followed. Conversing with her was an unexpected and added bonus. Our trip was very enjoyable due to the Inn and it's location.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Staff all friendly, courteous and helpful, rooms are comfortable and spacious, lobby is well - designed, great breakfast plus bar and Starbucks snack counter in lobby. Price is right, too. This hotel is better than a Hilton or Embassy Suites…just terrific!!!

The location was ideal for dropping off our daughter at University of Notre Dame campus, and it's a pet friendly hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Laundry room is accessible on first floor without having to use room key.

When we usually stay at the Inn at St. Mary's, we usually stay on the east side, on the first floor. The "pet friendly" room we usually get has a microwave, and the room we were given #121 did not have one. The room we usually get is more decorative and has a "homey" feel, while the room, #121, we got, was very bland and stark. It was a room for "disabled" guests, so the shower wasn't as nice as the other room(s) we've stayed in. For the price we paid, it was let down. However, this is the first time we didn't experience a wonderful stay, but since we've stayed in other rooms on previous visits, we'll continue to make future accommodations at the Inn at St. Mary's, but now know to request certain rooms.

Breakfast was very good. Room was quiet (except for an idling truck in the parking lot). Loved the proximity to the St. Mary's campus...took an evening stroll there. Very relaxing.

The bar was closed...just wanted a cold beer after a long day's drive. The bathroom door kept swinging shut...wanted to keep it open at night. There was no soft night light.

Ok we came for Welcome weekend and it was perfect. I found our stay to be exceptional. Was thrilled with the room, the Starbucks is better than Starbucks elsewhere because the Barrista has time to do it just perfectly. This was a 10/10 experience. We actually have moved this to our preferred location & we have been to several. Just outstanding and the breakfast exceeds expectations by a lot.

Always a great stay at the Inn of St. Mary's. I have stayed here 8 times over the past three years, I was attending the holy half marathon and the spring game. Very convenient to the University of Notre Dame. The employees are always very helpful. Very easy in and out throughout the day.
