This is probably the cleanest and nicest motel room I have ever stayed in. They did a wonderful job building it and I was the first guest in the new part of the motel approximately 3 years ago. So I stayed there again when I had the opportunity. The price is unbelievably low for how nice the rooms are.

Location is perfect as a half way point between Denver and St Louis. The facility is clean and orderly. Great place to rest your weary body after a long drive.

WOW! We were absolutely blown away at the accommodations provided by the Best Inn Motel in Salina, KS. We kept calling it our little "jewel of Kansas" because we weren't sure what the expect from a motel. The reviews that we saw absolutely rang true, as it was very clean, friendly and helpful staff, excellent fixtures and materials used. We just couldn't have been more pleased. Will absolutely stay at the Best Inn Motel the next time we visit Salina!

The bed frame is made out of a thin type of metal, that makes an irksome noise on occasion when you get up from it, but it's honestly very minuscule.

I love everything about the property itself! I’ve stayed here many times and always had a good experience until now.

I arrived at 5 pm. The office was locked. I waited outside in the cold for several minutes. I would use the Ring doorbell and wait. I resorted to looking up a phone number, but it was only for reservations. Finally, I called a number and got someone to answer. I went back to my car to get out of the cold. Shortly thereafter, a woman came out of the office. She said she didn’t know the office was locked. But how did she not hear the doorbell?

The staff here is wonderful. The guy who checked us in remembered me from when I was there a couple of months ago, and was very warm and friendly. I loved how clean everything was. The rooms have been remodeled so everything feels very nice and new. The showers were also great in terms of water pressure and temperature. There are plenty of places to store your things - huge dressers, closet space, and space under the night stand areas. You can tell that these details were well thought-out. The refrigerator and microwave also made it easier for us to store food. They also have a nice beverage bar in the lobby which provides hot coffee, oj/apple juice, and cappucinos and hot chocolate during the morning hours. I think the word is getting out on this place as I was staying there for a basketball tournament and saw other families there as well. It was booked out when I stayed there so I'm glad I got my reservation early.

It would be nice if they could switch out the lightbulbs in the room from cool daylight bulbs to warm 2700 K or lower bulbs. I'm a warm light person. I would also suggest adding sheers to the windows in addition to the curtains. I like having the option of having natural light and privacy with sheers. Also maybe provide a few more pillows, but I think you can get more if you ask.

Because of the cold, when I arrived the desk clerk offered to upgrade my reservation to a room with an indoor entrance—a welcome bonus. The room was clean, well kept, and had plenty of outlets. The bed was very comfortable and the thermostat worked well. The spacious mini fridge was perfect for storing my breakfast. Cappuccino in the lobby in the morning was the cherry on top of a very pleasant stay.

The only minor complaint I have is rough toilet paper, but for the great price it is hardly worth mentioning. If I come again I will bring my own.

The manager's wife quickly took care of me upon arrival and told me to let them know if the room wasn't satisfactory or needed anything. The manager also provided eating establishment recommendations when asked. Was told that I didn't need to worry about any criminal activity in the area. Quiet and easy checkout allowing one to leave whenever they want. Ice, coffee, tea and juice were available.

The location of the inn is surrounded by industrial businesses and at an intersection.

Not only was everything clean, but the carpet, electronic charging capabilities of the nightstands and bed all seemed newly refurbished. Pillows were the small kind, but they were comfortable. Didn't need a 'free' breakfast, since there were plenty of options within a short drive. The desk area was convenient and the wifi was excellent. For less than 1/2 the price of many of the area hotel chains, this motel was a great bargain!

The airconditioner was pretty loud and inconsistent in its 'auto' mode. There was no mirror outside of the bathroom. Towels were very thin, but good enough. Everything else was great.

Great value, new building and rooms, clean and well appointed, with friendly owner and seamless check on/check out. I also appreciate a thermostat that allows running the fan for white noise. Many hotels these days lock that feature out, requiring me to hack the thermostat and override the settings to get decent sleep (a small Phillips screwdriver and two minutes on YouTube will teach you how).

These are very minor dislikes, and I would absolutely stay here again. Skirt around the bed frame is sheet metal that clangs loudly when getting on or off the bed. Site is adjacent to a heavy equipment tool/rental yard and busy street that can get a little noisy at times, though not at night. No lids provided for the coffee cups, and tiny cups, best to have a travel mug if you want a coffee for the road when leaving.
