We were happy with the stay. It was a clean facility. Overall safe. I don't book hotels to stay in the hotel while on vacation so it met my standards of being a safe place to sleep, a safe place for my car to be And my stuff does not walk away while I'm gone. The ladies that took care of the rooms were amazing. Very respectful of your space. The gentleman that monitored the breakfast was friendly and on top of things. The gentleman that kept up the grounds was friendly, always spoke and was always in a good mood. It's obviously not the Hilton but they are actively making improvements. Very clean smell. Some maintenance issues but you would see them daily upgrading room by room and making repairs. Room was functional. No sign of any bugs the whole stay. Never saw any overflowing trash on the property. There weren't any loud commotions or problems that I'm aware of that occurred, we were there for a week. Other guests were respectful of each other. If we ever return to NOLA we would stay there again. It was easy to get to the city and activities from that location. There was a Walmart close by and a couple of takeout restaurants. Also it is close to the highway.

The fitness facility was closed and if it was projected rain, the pool was closed. If it rained in the morning, the pool was closed all day. The people that handled the front desk could be friendlier and more engaging. You would have to speak to them and say good morning they wouldn't just say it to you. The ones that we interacted with, if you had a question it was obvious that they didn't want to be bothered. They weren't rude or anything; you could just tell they didn't want to be bothered.

The value was the best. I was a lil nervous that with the price it wouldn't be as clean as the reviews stated, but it was very clean and the staff was exceptional. The breakfast is basic but good. Waffles, bagels, toast, muffins, cereal juice and coffee. The swimming pool was warm and we enjoyed it. The guy who runs breakfast was a hard worker. Constantly checking things, refilling and cleaning. I definitely recommend this hotel

My only complaint was the pool area could have been cleaner. Looks like toys, floats and chairs are just left out randomly. And I did see two pieces of cardboard tags left in the bottom of the pool. That's the only "dirty" thing I saw.

I liked that it was a nice accessible location. I can see why it’s on the affordable side but it was overall a clean property with a simple check in process. I appreciate that we were placed somewhere with easy access to the elevator and a considerably decent view. Check out was very quick and painless as well. We were pleasantly surpised with how much was offered for breakfast considering how it was strictly continental; the waffles were delicious! I liked that the area had so many quick food options and convenience stores.

The bathroom could’ve been more cleaned thoroughly before letting guests check in. Upon arrival the desk attendant seemed confused as to why we were there, but they regained their composure and were pleasant afterwards. No other complaints!

If you want a budget friendly room to spend the night and you have a car, then this is a great option. The room was relatively clean and had everything we needed for the night. The breakfast was super basic, but enough to give you a little fuel to get out the door.

Pool was closed due to being "out of season". Definitely was warm enough for it. Lots of rules and reminders at check in which seemed to be fueled by the reviews on here. The location is not the best area for exploring New Orleans city centre but it's only a short drive in. Mainly fast food restaurants nearby and a Walmart.

Booked a stay here last weekend before my cruise. Stayed 2 nights. Forgot to take pics when I got there so took some when I left. The hotel was a great value for the price. I seen some bad reviews but honestly for what you pay it was a great stay. The breakfast was ok had waffles, boiled eggs, cereal, muffins, coffee, and juices. Was something to fill my belly and better then nothing at all being offered. It was gated in and I felt comfortable enough to go outside at night by myself for a smoke so not sure why some people felt it was a "bad area". The man that was working when I checked out was super nice and was working really hard keeping the breakfast area stocked up for everyone. When I left I left the cleaning lady a towel animal figure as I was taking them on my cruise to hide so I left her one also. Would definitely stay again.

I can't really complain about anything it was a great stay and at a great price. Would stay again.

this was definitely an on a budget trip for me and my friend and we chose this hotel and it was great, we enjoyed the hotel, we felt safe since it’s gated, and we had no issues at all.

the property was perfectly fine, the area it is in is a little concerning for some but we didn’t feel unsafe at all considering we are two college girls on a trip. everything is a slight distance away but it isn’t bad at all.

My experience was great looking at the other comments.Before I book the hotel I was scared to book but i'm happy I did.This place was clean.Every time I came out, it smelled like bleach.Someone was mopping the hallway floors. the room was clean.I have no complaints about this hotel. My TV. Wasn't working. I called the front desk. He actually came up and fixed it. It was very quiet. Anything I needed the front desk help and took care of it. I differently will be back

I liked that the area was quiet. Our room did not smell like Marijuana or smoke. It's the first one we stay at that doesn't stink. I have severe smoke induced asthma from my father smoking, and I dread traveling because hotels no matter how much you pay smell like Marijuana and / or cigarette smoke.

They smoked Marijuana outside. There was only one staff member who was rude. Everyone else from maintenance, housekeeping, and front desk staff were friendly.

The staff was extremely friendly, the continental breakfast was satisfying, the gated parking felt safe, and the area itself felt very secure. After reading reviews, we were worried, but we were pleasantly surprised to find that all the negative reviews were exaggerated. While it's not a resort or a fancy hotel, for a motel-type accommodation, it is very decent and affordable.

The machines in the gym area are out of order. They should repair them or update the information online to indicate that the gym is not currently available.

For the price, this is a great hotel. The room was comfortable, the T,V, worked well and with good channels, the wifi had good connection, and there was an ice machine, The breakfast was okay. The hotel felt safe. Many places to eat not far away, I would stay there again.

The hotel needs some refurbishment, The gym is closed for the moment. The pool is a bit small and not very inviting. The ice machine is on the first floor so a bit out of the way. This hotel is for those with a car (the security gate for it was nice).
