One of the few reasonably-priced hotels left in Boston. Private room entrances and safe courtyard parking like a motel, but with the cleanliness and customer service of a hotel. And their continental breakfast is really more like “Continental-Plus”. In addition to the expected baked goods, they also provide a selection of fresh fruit and juices, oatmeal and cold cereals, and a Belgian waffle maker(!!) included with your stay. Helen and her entertaining coworker at the front desk were lovely to offer a complimentary room upgrade. I’ve stayed here four or five times already, and I will stay here again next time I’m in the city. Thanks!

Very comfortable room and bed. Staff was friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast room. Great value, and location is good for easy access to transit options, restaurants and stores. We had a very pleasant stay!

Tub was slippery and uneven (they didn't have any rubber bathmats). Fridge froze everything and didn't seem to have a way to adjust the temperature. Doorway needed weather stripping; you could see outside between door and frame. This all may have just been in the room we were in. Generally, the hotel is very nice.

Only a block from the T. Staff was very helpful with a first aid kit when I nicked my finger. Continental breakfast was better than other hotels I’ve stayed in recently- included pancake/waffle machines, fruit, yogurt, bread/bagels, boiled eggs, coffee and juice.

It’s not in the “hub” of the city so you need to travel to get anywhere. Restaurants nearby are more community- I like that feel for carry out, but don’t expect high end if that’s your preference.

The staff were all excellent. Gave us an early check in and late check out with no problems. The morning breakfast staff were helpful and pleasant. The hotel is located close to train and restaurants. The rooms are clean and we'll kept, if a little aged. Would definitely stay here again.

As someone said in a review that I read before choosing Hotel Boston, the water pressure was a little weak but bearable in the shower. Plenty of HOT though. The $25 a night for parking is becoming more common, but it's better than trying to find a place to park.

I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Boston. The location was perfect—conveniently situated with easy access to local attractions and public transport. The room was spotless, spacious, and incredibly comfortable, making it a great place to unwind after a long day. A special shoutout to Helena at reception—she was exceptionally helpful and welcoming. Her friendly demeanor and willingness to go the extra mile made the experience even better. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area.

The location is perfect for us. A 10 minute walk to our Granddaughters place and 10 minutes to train. This was our 2nd stay here because our first was so good. Great staff and breakfast. An older hotel but clean and comfortable.

It could use a little updating. Some of the features are dated, but I really don't mind that. The staff make up for any small problems due to the age of the hotel. We'll be staying there again.

This is our second stay in this hotel. The establishment is easy to get to, located in calm and safe neighborhood. Keith at front desk is absolutely amazing, accommodating, welcoming and friendly. Additional charge for parking ( on premises). Traditional continental breakfast, with coffee/tea station open pretty much around the clock.

Can't think of anything for us. For those ha having difficulty with stairs please make sure to ask for first floor, there is no elevator.

Manager Keith was great. Close to Sites of interest such as the Waterworks Museum. Liked the solid cast iron bath tub. Breakfast was fairly basic, but coffee was good.

Parking was stated as "available" without clearly indicating the fee of $25 for one nite of onsite parking. It could be helpful to add a label to the window heating unit to use the wall mounted thermostat for temperature control.

I like the motel set up of the hotel. Easy to access which is great since my hours were a bit odd.

A couple of outlets did not work. Overnight staff was very unpleasant. When my room key did not work around 1 am the worker delayed in letting me into the lobby even after I gave home my name and showed the inactive key. He then said, let’s go check this supposedly not working key. His attitude improved as we approached and got to the room and he let me in but said he could not reset my key and I’d have to do it in the morning.

The staff was very friendly. The night manager, Keith, is a super friendly, kind, and accommodating person. I was there for a hospital procedure and he did everything possible to make sure I'd be comfortable in the room when I returned from the procedure, including flowers. The room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, the breakfast adequate, loved that there was off street parking, and the location quiet yet close to everything.
