It was clean and comfortable. Little but perfect for me and my fiancé!

With no staff on site, we ran out of toilet paper and had to buy more & only had two towels.

Had to turn on the tv manually on the back buttons.

I liked the location. Gladstone is a nice little town and Lake Michigan is about 3 blocks, or a 5-6 minute walk from the motel itself.

I think its the booking website but there were several times I would book for 4-5 nights and on checkout it would bill me for 3-4 nights. Im not sure if its an issue with the property or booking.com itself but it was frustrating choosing my dates to stay and having them be off by one night/morning - more than once. The app or website would show 5 days available for stay but upon checkout would only bill you for 4 days. Very inconvenient, especially when traveling for work. There was one day I was actually at work and the motel called me asking why my stuff was still in the room. Maybe its a software issue but I travel for work and stay in hotels the majority of my time and Ive never had this issue anywhere else like this. Be careful when you book! It just might take one night away from you! (they dont take/steal money just quietly remove one apparently available day on reserving the room).

When I entered the room there was a 16 ounce Coke can on the night stand. I was unsure if I entered an occupied room. I looked in the bathroom and found a travel size soap container on the shower floor.

the room was "dated" only. Second time I stayed there. Will stay again.

All I want is a clean place to stay and a fair price. They delivered what I expected. In my email reservation I got room code with no room number with both of my two times I satayed.

I did not receive breakfast. Location is close to cute little shops.

The shower took a while to warm up, the bed was a little springy, the decor is out of date.

Bathroom was too small. Not enough room to turn around in the standing shower and not enough leg room by the toilet seat.

My last stay, that room was updated. This time, no.

The building is old the bathroom is tiny. The paint was peeling in bathroom , the shower took a long time to get hot water. when i finally set the shower temp and was half done the hot water spiked , the hot water must be for multiple room and someone either got in their shower or flushed a toilet. bad shower atmosphere , rest of the room ok.

The door locked. There's a microwave. They have a coffee maker and a fridge - though I never opened the fridge

NO ONE IS HERE. Basically an "Airbnb" motel. Lonely & UNSAFE if you were to need help. No office. Only a phone number & the rude angry person gives you a code. Kept threatening me with "you don't have to stay!" when I was appalled there's no office, only a phone number, ZERO OTHER GUESTS, and an unsafe ramshackle "gazebo" in deserted parking lot. Plus far too much money for this! I passed a dozen more motels WITH STAFF & other guests that are right on Rte 2 & cost far less.
