Loved the location and underground parking. The bed was uncomfortable but to each their own. Our toilet was funky and there’s no maintenance on the wkend which is silly. We got a free upgraded room but the jacuzzi didn’t work the first night luckily someone fixed that I believe … privacy on the balcony was not the best. Maybe solid privacy walls. Loved the gift shop. The breakfast is ok. Expected a more and more hotels these days. The double door entrance is kinda goofy to the room we had. Idk if they are all like that. ? Ice on the first floor only is kinda a bummer too. It also said designated smoking areas. Not sure on those. ? Parking is goofy and the idea that it’s between two other condo buildings doesn’t really make it a hotel feel. More apartment. It was nice.

Great view from my room, right on the lake, appreciated the enclosed parking under the facility, enjoyed using the jacuzzi in my suite, comfy reading chair and bed, room coffee was GOOD, temperature in the pool area was nice and warm, hot tub was great with some friendly people, very convenient location if you have student(s) at UMD

The check-in process included a sign-off indicating charges would be incurred if there were noise complaints. Good, I thought to myself, but out of curiosity, I asked about the range of charges for noise complaints and how that worked. Received a vague and defensive response from the front desk dude. The upshot is, this is probably not the place you want to go to host or celebrate a lakeside party...

The View!!!!!!❤️‍🔥We had a nice king sized room with a balcony facing the lake. The grab and go breakfast had a lot of selections.! Boiled eggs, cottage cheese, cheese sticks, fruit, cereal. Did I mention the hot chocolate bar with all the candies?!! I felt very safe in my room; it had a sub door you had to unlock before you entered your room door. Also, they had bicycles available to use at your leisure. Loved the gift shop.Recommend eating at Betty’s Pies. Sooo good!

No complaints!

Great view

Didn't like having to carry everything up stairs for penthouse would've been nice to know that there was stairs to get up to room before hand and I would've gotten a different room , wasn't as clean as you would except, alot of dust on stuff windows dirty bedding was stained like it wasn't washed , found old fishstick at base of fridge carpet looked like it needed vacuumed, bathroom seemed like it could've used a sweeping stairs leading up to room had lots of marks , and need vacuumed. Night staff was very polite and helpful

I loved the location and amenities. It was a good price and I appreciated the garage option. The grab and go breakfast is very convenient. And loved being able to rent a bike.

The bathroom appears accessible but it wasn't really. The place to sit was extremely small and a bigger person wouldn't fit. I also don't remember a safety bar. The heater had a bright blue display which isn't great for sleep. I had to cover it with a pillow.

Location. Easy to get to. Convenience of items in shop on site. Beautiful hotel!

There were spider webs on the ceiling in my room. I had bites on my legs each morning. Also, we enjoyed the pool and hot tub. It seemed there was too much chemical in it. When we arrived home, we noticed that the pool had taken the color out of my daughters swim suit! Used to be blue. Now it's barely blue, it's actually mostly white!

The view of the lake, you don't realize how busy the port of Duluth is. There were ships leaving and you could watch there progress from the comfort of your room. Duluth has a very good variety of eating places.. location of resort makes getting to these places easy. Just get on Superior Street head south till you get to where you want to eat or drink. Surprise the traffic was light very easy getting around. Save room for the Smores when you get back. We were here in March. Summer traffic is very busy.

Having to leave. Did not get to use pool too busy enjoying the town. TV in the room had to use both remotes to get to cable channels

Location, the view and price!

Parking, I’m handicapped and the first night had to park in the car wash bay, second night a non handicapped individual was parked in the only handicapped stall and I had to park outside in the icy street and walk on the ice to get to the building. Was told we will try and see who is parked there but staff is not allowed in the garage? To state we have underground parking, but there isn’t any. If there are x-number of rooms there should be x-number of stalls available for at least one vehicle per noon.

This was a most wonderful place to stay. Unfortunately, I had started new medication and was not able to take advantage of the pool, but I did sit by it. Everything was fantastic. Gift shop perks, laundry, everything! It was even ok to feel ill and lay in bed when you're looking out on Lake Superior. Fantastic view. I will be going back!
