We were greeted warmly at check-in by Vivian and were pleased to discover that our room was large and comfortable and had a balcony (all rooms do). There were plenty of healthy options available at breakfast. The hotel has a few fun offerings - happy hour with free chips or pretzels and a s'mores bar in the evening. When the weather is warm, you can sit outside near the boats in the marina. The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood, but is close enough to walk to Canal Park.We would definitely stay there again.

We giggled a bit about the "lounge," which was really just an alcove around the corner from the front desk. No real complaints, though.

Good location. Quiet area close to Canal Park; just watch the ship schedules for anything large coming through that may take a while. The nightly s'mores bar was a hit with our kids. The breakfast featured a toppings bar, too, for their waffles. Their happy hour drink specials were tasty and came with bonus snacks. I also enjoyed the nautical decor touches throughout.

I have no complaints. I was concerned there might be boat traffic noise being right on the marina and there wasn't anything noticeable.

Loved the decor and amenities and the comfortable room. The staff was also extremely helpful when we had a few issues. Very easy to find and they had some great breakfast and happy hour events. Great beer selection too!

The only thing that would have improved the stay would be having the hotel shuttle run to Canal Park, and ideally, downtown Duluth more often and not only on-demand. While close to the beach, the hotel was a bit removed from bars and restaurants.

A real attention to cleanliness and detail. Staff attentive, called our room 1 hour after arriving for a quality check ! ( texted as well ) Who does that !? Rooms and bathrooms large and spacious. Beds very comfortable. Microwave and bar fridge in room. Linens very clean. Pool sauna and hot tub clean well maintained. Breakfast was more than adequate . Scrambled Eggs, sausage, waffles ( with toppings ) ,toast muffins and yougurt . Coffee tea ,orange juice, and lemon water available 24x7. Had a SMORES making station in the evening!! ( seasonal according to staff, spring onwards to fall ) Hot lemongrass infused towels to refresh oneself!! Staff kept this breakfast and seating area spotless. A small bar and food options available after breakfast. An outdoor seating area with a childrens play set was on the marina side and was nice to have. The long beautiful beach of park point was a 2 minute walk away. Very nice beach miles long. A walk to canal park bars and restaurants 10 minutes ( we walked) .Hotels here priced MUCH higher. I have stayed all over the world 11/10 . price point very good!

They didnt have free foot rubs and 5 course meals....kidding! over expectations.

Park Point has it all! From a brilliant location in the heart of Duluth’s port area to incredible amenities and fantastic staff, you’ll be hard pressed to find a better stay. From the moment we checked in to our departure, the staff made us feel very welcome and we were very pleased with our room and the view. The warm towels and s’more’s really spoiled us, along with the sauna and jacuzzi - a truly relaxing experience!

Nothing, this place is perfect!

Comfortable beds. Large bathroom. Liked the dispensers for soap, shampoo etc. Quite rooms.

At 9am on August 4th, there was only 1 sausage patty left. Didn't like that the hotel was on the other side of canal park. Hotel couldn't give vet, aarp or AAA discount because we booked through you. Refrigerator could have been colder. Didn't see any settings for it.

We had a bit of time to kill so we stop in and had a drink. Drink prices were reasonable. Breakfast was good. Lots of choices. and it seemed like they kept everything well stocked.

Make the bar area more comfortable. It would be nice if the shuttle on concert nights would run later. We walked back at midnight. I didn't feel unsafe but we were the only people on the streets.

The rooms were clean, location was convenient. We enjoyed that breakfast was included. The smores bar was adorable. Most of the staff was very friendly.

Happy hour was not what we expected like other hotels. It was a bar set up with couple $$ off drink prices. There were no "food" or "snacks" included unless you asked for pretzels. We thought it was get a drink and pizza included with your stay like at some other hotels. Also we're pregnant and something came up with baby resulting in not being able to travel thr first day, hotel refused to let us move it back a day and juat stay extra night or even just change it to one night. So wasted a nights worth since we couldn't travel right away. Besides that one person, the other staff was very friendly. We wouldn't rule out staying here again but it's not a definite either for us.

The room was spacious, up to date and clean. The view of the harbor was nice, a great combination of setting and convenience for the area. Breakfast was good, with several hot food choices, plenty of beverage options and a very nice condiment bar.

There are no real negatives about this place, just a few things that prevent it from being great: non craftsman carpentry, non pristine carpets and inadequate signage.

We loved being on the marina and watching boats come in!

It’s not close enough to restaurants… Breakfast was horrible! Our room was far from an elevator which we needed for my husband who can’t walk well. I asked for a different room and he assured me that it would be difficult!The price was outrageous considering the hidden location!
