The location was perfect for my needs. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Having a pool, hot tub, and sauna on site and in working order (not always a given at some hotels) added to our relaxation. The breakfast was a welcome perk.

Not the fault of the facility or staff but we were disturbed by young children running, jumping, and yelling above our first floor room well after midnight. We tried to be patient about it because we know what it's like to travel with young children but had to admit the noise was excessive. Thankfully the staff handled the issue very well once alerted to it.

Breakfast was hot and good. Room was clean , bed was comfy. No noise from the hall, highway sounds of course. Easy access from the highway. Parking plentiful.

The response to our report to front desk about the running toilet. Day we arrived and again the next day. When we left it was still running. What a waste of many gallons of water. We had to close the bathroom door at night so the sound would not keep us awake. Very annoying! So unnecessary! If we had a screwdriver we would have fixed the problem ourselves. Not that difficult.

My friend and I just came up to Duluth for a little leaf peeping and relaxation. The hotel was a little ways from everything but the price was good so we opted for price. We were very happy with our stay, the room was great, the beds were comfortable, the breakfast was exceptional!! And...the staff was great!! So friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay with you there again!!

Not so much dislike, you are just a ways from the action of Duluth. But the drive was not bad.

The atmosphere when you first walked in was amazing. We were greeted by the kindest hotel staff we've ever had. I could not believe how comfortable the bed was. I always dread staying at hotels because I never sleep well. The mattress coupled with the weight of the comforter, heaven, I slept all night long. We didn't use the pool or the hot tub but will definitely be bringing my suit next time. I believe this hotel will become our new normal place to stay.

Beds were comfortable and clean and soft. Room and bathroom were clean. Soaps provided were good quality. I had trouble with the tub filling with water taking my shower but I may have not flipped the tub/shower switch correctly. Average hotel breakfast. Powdered eggs. Undercooked potatoes. Sausage and waffles good. There were cereal choices yogurt and fruit. Good coffee.

The price. Paid $100 more that what the room / experience was worth. Positive experience besides the cost of the room.

Location was good and close to a lot of sites and activities, there were a lot of good options for breakfast, and it was very clean all over the hotel (rooms and common areas).

The times for breakfast and pool hours were confusing. We were told by staff that something would be open at certain times, but online or posted on doors said something different.

The location is perfect, easy on and off the highway and close to downtown shopping area. The hotel Is clean, staff is friendly and the check in/out process is so quick using the links they text you after reserving the room. The discount tickets for the aquarium was a bonus! I will stay at this hotel for every trip to Duluth. Very happy with Comfort Inn West.

All my expectations were met. Nothing to complain about.

I don’t like their advance online check-in process. There’s no good reason for me to upload my drivers license to the internet. Thin walls meant it was pretty noisy when people were talking in the hallway or next room, but my white noise app took care of that.

Pool area was the best!

The ceiling in the bathroom was horrible! Breakfast time was too short, I was not expecting it to be 9 as all the other places I have stayed its 10. I wasn't feeling great and got scraps as they were cleaning up.

Less contact from hotel we were called twice, texted 5 times and 6 emails ALL to confirm our reservation was VERY annoying to staff at desk they said they have a company contact us but yet the hotel called. They stated they wanted to be sure we were coming, how frustrating If this is how consumer is treated we will not stay there again!
