Great location by the lake with amazing MN nature and lots of lake-related amenities, and very friendly and welcoming manager who helped us with all of our questions and offered help without even asking. This was a stay linked to Grandma's Marathon in Duluth, and we are so glad that we have chosen this location by the lake (about 40 minutes from Duluth center) instead of downtown. If we ever visit MN again, this is our favorite place to stay!!!

This is a reasonable place to stay for the price and location to country restaurants and ATV trails. It's nothing fancy though...think of a vintage summer camp from your school years and that's a pretty good summary of this place. That's not a negative though, just a summary of the style this place has. If you're looking for a Hampton Inn, this is not your place. If your looking for a quiet, rustic place in the country, this is a great spot to stay. Staff were very nice at checkin but we never saw them after that. Not a big deal, we just left the keys in the room for check out since no one was at the front desk. A good, mom and pop, laid back place to stay

The breakfast could be upgraded a bit. The donuts were not the best quality and there were no hot food selections. Adding hot food selections would be great.

This is a hidden gem in North Minnesota. A lovely, lovely place alongside a small lake. Not many motored boats on it so you can enjoy peace and calm. And the view from the rooms is spectacular! The owners will allow you to use their canoes, kayaks, SUPs ... pretty much anything to enjoy the lake. Moose Lake is very close if you need something to eat or need a store. It's just a great place to spend a weekend!

There isn't really anything I did not like. It's just a great place!

The location was beautiful and peaceful. The room was lakeside with large windows providing an amazing view of the lake. I appreciated the history of this place being a former music camp. Yes the building is old but well kept and was exceptionally clean with very comfortable bed. If we had more time we would have enjoyed taking out the kayaks or paddle boats they have for guest use. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful spot right on the lake

No place to have a fire. It would have been amazing to have a fire by the lake. The tv is tiny, and I know you don’t go on vacation for a big tv but at the end of the day, when relaxing in bed the tv was a 25 inch at best, and not a smart tv The bed was comfy and the view was amazing

The setting on a small lake was spectacular. Great view out the picture window of our room in the main lodge. Nice breakfast provided in the morning. No restaurant, but pizza delivery from nearby was available - which was good! Nice and quiet place. Staff was so warm and seemed to truly care how our stay was going.

The breakfast offerings were simple, and a very nice touch. Good coffee choices. The owner was superb, very welcoming and available for anything I may have needed!

My experience was great and fit my needs and expectations in every way!

I loved that there was a little kitchen and fridge. We borrowed dvd's one night from the main building and had a nostalgic night. It gave me the ideal up north summer cabin vibe

There was a bit of dirt road that was very bumpy. I don't mind dirt roads, it was just the worst part of the lovely weekend

Very pleasant resort with some cabins and some regular rooms on the lodge. Rustic but modern rooms. On a lake with a dock and water toys to choose from. They have a small but stocked breakfast area with coffee and donuts, cereal, and fruit etc.

The cabin was immaculate, so clean! The beds were super comfortable and there was plenty of space for us to stay. We loved having a kitchen and there were also some local restaurants down the road that were great.
