This is a reasonable place to stay for the price and location to country restaurants and ATV trails. It's nothing fancy though...think of a vintage summer camp from your school years and that's a pretty good summary of this place. That's not a negative though, just a summary of the style this place has. If you're looking for a Hampton Inn, this is not your place. If your looking for a quiet, rustic place in the country, this is a great spot to stay. Staff were very nice at checkin but we never saw them after that. Not a big deal, we just left the keys in the room for check out since no one was at the front desk. A good, mom and pop, laid back place to stay

The breakfast could be upgraded a bit. The donuts were not the best quality and there were no hot food selections. Adding hot food selections would be great.

This is a hidden gem in North Minnesota. A lovely, lovely place alongside a small lake. Not many motored boats on it so you can enjoy peace and calm. And the view from the rooms is spectacular! The owners will allow you to use their canoes, kayaks, SUPs ... pretty much anything to enjoy the lake. Moose Lake is very close if you need something to eat or need a store. It's just a great place to spend a weekend!

The location was beautiful and peaceful. The room was lakeside with large windows providing an amazing view of the lake. I appreciated the history of this place being a former music camp. Yes the building is old but well kept and was exceptionally clean with very comfortable bed. If we had more time we would have enjoyed taking out the kayaks or paddle boats they have for guest use. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again.

I loved that there was a little kitchen and fridge. We borrowed dvd's one night from the main building and had a nostalgic night. It gave me the ideal up north summer cabin vibe

There was a bit of dirt road that was very bumpy. I don't mind dirt roads, it was just the worst part of the lovely weekend

Beautiful place and a beautiful location! We only stayed for one night but I wish our timing would have allowed for more. The stand-up paddle-boards free for use were a great addition. I loved being able to drink coffee on the dock in the morning. We even watched one of the DVD's available to borrow. Honestly, the amenities were fantastic, and the hosts were incredible during our stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to get away for the weekend.

The staff were amazing—so nice and accommodating. We wanted to go out on the dock after dark to watch for Northern lights. We forgot a flashlight and they provided one for us. We loved the private and serene setting. A family of loons put on a real display right in front of our window! The view from our room was beautiful. We made good use of the kayaks that were free for guests.

I have allergies and am sensitive to scents. Even though the bedding was very lovely, I had a headache and my eyes and nose ran. I had brought my own air purifier and used that.

Very pleasant resort with some cabins and some regular rooms on the lodge. Rustic but modern rooms. On a lake with a dock and water toys to choose from. They have a small but stocked breakfast area with coffee and donuts, cereal, and fruit etc.

Location, Location, Location and the free use of the water toys to enjoy in the Lake. The staff was accommodating and the breakfast was good for a continental option. They allow late check out and working in this beautiful environment made my days fly by.

Terrible horrible WiFi. I had to work while my husband played which was made very difficult by the fact that the WiFi is basically non existent and my phone as a hot spot was just barely sufficient. If you need to do more than upload things a few times a day via a personal hotspot, look elsewhere.

The cabin was immaculate, so clean! The beds were super comfortable and there was plenty of space for us to stay. We loved having a kitchen and there were also some local restaurants down the road that were great.

The Cabin came with everything! No Need to go out of your way to purchase pots, pans, cleaning supplies, it was all provided. Check in was really easy, we stopped in and was greeted with the nicest hello. She showed us to our cabin, gave a brief tour, asked if we needed anything else. Great place to get away, Fishing available by the shore, kayaks, canoes, 2 person paddle boats, life jackets on location for guests to use. We loved that place, will make it one of my go to destinations for future vacations. Plenty of places to visit, eat, explore.
