Very easy check-in, the room was cozy and clean, the staff was kind. The bed was very comfortable. So much nicer than a different hotel we stayed in last year when we came down for meetings. I appreciated how close it was to the Capital and that I could park so close to the building.

The "business center" is just a couch. There isn't a printer or access to a computer. I did appreciate the wifi, though. The vending machines didn't really have anything to vend and the samples had dust on them so we opted to pass on that. Breakfast looked good, but there were very few gluten free choices.

We purposely chose a property that we did not expect to be luxurious. The room we were presented with, along with the lobby and breakfast area, had obviously been recently renovated. Very good choices had been made regarding furnishings in the room and bathroom. The room was comfortable for a space with only one chair, other than the desk chair. The entire property was being very well taken care of and was incredibly clean. Good work.

The breakfast was a bit limited regarding protein. Lots of carbs, however, it was well presented and tasted good.

The breakfast could have had more choices other than biscuits and gravy for meat. I dont eat gravy. I was told I could pay when I arrived, but instead they tried to charge a card I had on file, which was declined. when I got there I was charged a different price than what I was quoted on Booking .com. Not sure if I will use it again, to much confusion, and not able to contact anyone about the situation.

The breakfast is fantastic, especially the biscuits and gravy. Great variety of fresh fruit, yogurt, bagels, cream cheese, cereal, oatmeal, eggs, etc. The staff is always checking to make sure all the food items are on hand, so your always sure to get a fresh batch of hot tasty biscuits and gravy.

Wish there was a hotel shuttle though. Always have to take an Uber to and from the train station, a short 5 minutes away from Hotel. Though short, it's too difficult a walk with luggage or if somewhat limited physically. I almost missed the train back to Chicago, because I couldn't get an Uber to pick me up and drive me to the station. Lucky for me there was a long line of passengers boarding the train that day, or I would have never made it home.

Wow! I'm on a cross country hwy 50 drive. 5-6 nights a week I sleep in my TearDrop. My last motel (Quality Inn) in Cannon City was bleak - borderline dump. I had low expectations for Baymont AND I was wrong! The room was lovely - clean, furnishings were newer, nothing in tatters. The bed was newer and comfy. The bathroom had been recently tiled with a new sink/toilet/tub. Room was quiet, guests were nice. Location cannot be beat! Breakfast was the usual buffet with a make-your-own pancake machine. I'm mostly gluten free (I carry my own bread) so I grabbed a yogurt for later and went in search of a bougie coffee house (I'm a coffee snob).

The windows don't open so all air is from the AC/heater or the hall H-vac. I would stay here again in a minute for one night but longer I need a window that opens. I realize most people don't care about this. The hallway H-vac is noisy when in the bathroom but I closed the door and used ear plugs. Slept like a baby. (The Double Tree doesn't have windows that open.)

The self-serve breakfast was nice. It had a lot of options. The location was also convenient. Overall, everything was good. It was not exceptional, but I also have no complaints. It was decent value for the money. It was clean. And we saved money on breakfast by eating the hotel's breakfast each morning.

When we checked in, I expected a little more help from the front desk. Usually, at check-in, it's nice to get a quick introduction to the hotel from the staff - breakfast times and location, where the gym is, nearby restaurant and take-out options, vending machines, ice machine, etc. The young man helping us was the silent type. But we figured everything out on our own.

This Baymont is a wonderful improvement from a few years ago. Everything is remodeled, beds are comfortable and the price is great. It is conveniently located - close to Lincoln U, Capitol, downtown. Breakfast was perfectly adequate.

The cleaning crew may need some retraining. The room was basically clean, but there was a ton of dust on surfaces. I actually wiped it off, myself. The bathroom and beds were fine. Also, the elevator needs some attention, some floor cleaning. The only other thing was a persistent noise, maybe from the roof ? About every half hour, there was a strange clanking. It eventually stopped and didn’t recur overnight or in the morning.

Beds were comfortable, television had tons of channels, bathroom was good size for two people. Hotel is located just down the street from lots of restaurants + stores. Parking is easily accessible. Short distance from Missouri State Capital + downtown attractions.

My only criticism was complementary breakfast, which consisted of biscuits and gravy the morning we left from our one night stay. Not a huge fan of biscuits + gravy. Dining area did have option of eating cold cereal, apples.

The hotel and rooms were clean and well-kept. The grounds were clean as well. Breakfast at 6 am was appreciated. My room had an easy chair. I very much liked that, as I used it to sleep in b/c of a sore back.

I have experienced better continental breakfasts for comparable hotels. Sausages and/or bacon would have been nice, as well as scrambled eggs. ALSO-no outdoor seating to enjoy our cigars (away from other guests, to be sure) was VERY disappointing.

no usb jack in the room to charge my phone. Bathroom floor had not been swept, hair from previous guest outside shower, more than one. Breakfast needs a lot of help. This is not on them but there needs to be a walk over bridge so you can get across the 4 lane highway to the Capital district. Come on Jefferson City, saw a lot lacking around there.
