Breakfast was amazing. This was the 1st time in several years that my family enjoyed a hotel breakfast experience. The food was prepared well, always fresh and hot and the selection was great. The building and room were clean and the pool area was great as well - not an overwhelming chlorine smell like hotel pools usually have.

The doors to the rooms slam no matter how quiet you try to be. This was the only thing we really had to complain about!

Everything was excellent from the time we step out of the vehicle. The property was clean and the friendly and competent staff greeted us upon entry. Check in was easy. We were thrilled with the pool and hot tub; both were clean and working (which was the priority for our stay)! The hallway, the elevator, the room and everything was clean and well-maintained. The vending options in the lobby met our needs. The location was perfect for our getaway to the Legends. This was the best hotel experience I’ve had in a very long time.

We were in a room with a king size, bed, and sofa. The only suggestion I can make is to have an extra blanket in the room to use on the sofa.

The location is convenient, easy to get to off the highway. Plenty of stores, restaurants and gas stations available in immediate area. Walking distance to 24 hour IHOP.

I had called two weeks prior to stay to inquire if pool was open, was informed it would open that weekend. When we arrived the pool was still closed. I understand maintenance services sometimes can not be anticipated I think the hotel should place a courtesy call to upcoming guests as the pool may have been a deciding factor of where to stay. The pool did open the next day, which was great as the pool area was very clean and no signs of mildew.

Grateful I didn't have to smell Marijuana near my room like I've experienced at other hotels. Making my comfort level uneasy.

My room carpet had mud stains spots that were noticable, plus it was on the bottom of couch, I notified staff at front desk so I wouldn't be blamed. No other offers to address this matter were offered.

We had a little birthday staycation for my daughter and some friends and we will definitely be back. The manager was extremely helpful with getting our rooms on the same floor and making sure everything was awesome. My daughter felt like a star to hear her and the other front desk employees wishing her a happy birthday. We spent a lot of our time in the pool and hot tub! It was all great! Thank you!

We enjoy the location. We stay here every trip we take to KC. It is always clean. And we enjoy the pool and hot tub.

Every stay the staff is never very friendly. We always feel it's such an inconvenience to them when we go purchase water, pop, or a snack at the front desk. Or if our keycards do not work, they are never happy when we need new ones.

Breakfast was great, location was excellent!

I don’t know if all Holiday Inn expresses are the same,but one thing my wife and I noticed was that as many people were there over the weekend it seemed that we had to wait on the elevator for some time, at times. It would have been nice to have had elevators on both sides, or side by side.

Conveniently located to Legends Outlet Mall, restaurants, Walmart,& Sams

The pool was not working. Our room #111 had a bad door handle. Felt like it was sticking when opening making an awful racket. When closing the door from the outside you had to pull the door handle and cause the door to slam. Otherwise you could just give a good push and open it back up without the room key card. The handle would pull away from the door. We mentioned it to the night girls and again to the day girls who said the night crew hadn't left any notices about it needing repaired. Definitely a safety issue. USB outlet on wall by the bed wouldn't charge our phone or iPad. Had to plug in a block

Diamond was amazing when we checked in. She was very kind and helpful! The rooms were clean and updated. The pool and hot tub were the perfect size and had clearly been recently renovated. Breakfast was great with a lot of variety to choose from. We would definitely stay here again if we're in the area!

The room was great and the AC ran perfectly, kept the room nice and cool

The pool hours. Why does it matter what time the pool closes when you have someone on duty at the front counter all night. If people are quiet and not making a bunch of noise, then the pool should be 24 hrs.
