They charged me for an extra Room that somehow mysteriously appeared on my credit card and they said there was nothing they could do about it. paid for a room that I didn't even use. I tried to get help from some there front desk staff, and all they wanted to do was argue and not take any responsibility and did not try to help me out.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. It was our last minute choice at night with two kids on long weekend when Wyndham cancelled our reservation due to overbooking right upon our arrival (people say that’s is a norm for them now). It was such a good coincidence as Whitney Peak Hotel turned out to be great - renovated with beautiful decor, picturesque views, friendly staff, BaseCamp Climbing Gym, free WiFi, tasty food at the cafe, filtered water machine is available at all floors. convenient location. You might meet some nice pets there, love it. No pool, but we usually don’t use it so not a problem for us. Highly recommend this place ❤️

Staff was extremely informative and helpful even after my stay was over. I came back a week after my stay looking for something I left in the room and the staff actually ended up finding my missing item the same night they went above and beyond from the staff at front desk During check in to my return conversation with front desk staff as well as security

N/A everything was great! the only think was the bending and ice machine were out on our floor

Friendly staff, WONDERFUL room - clean, comfortable beds, great renovated bathroom! I loved the smoke-free and casino-free aspects. The gym was great, and it was interesting to watch the climbers there. Location was decent. The only downside is the parking a little inconvenient (you have to park across the street or valet your car.) The restaurant downstairs was lovely, very good food and EXCELLENT home-made lemonade! The waitress was super-friendly and fun!

The parking was a little inconvenient (we forgot something in the car, so had to walk over and get it across the street.) Not a deal breaker at all.

Great location literally down below is Reno Sign and all less than a few mins away from other big casinos. If you trying to get a lowkey hotel that doesn’t involve all the crazy gambling but still super nice and located near the row this is the place!! Also their purified water is amazing!!! Located on each floor

No microwaves in room but they sent us one after asking for one during our stay. Maybe load a bit more bigger towels for those that have longer stays

The staff were all very friendly and helpful

I wanted to self park my car, but the streets were blocked off for an event, so I had to valet my car. The valet guys were all really great and helpful, but I didn’t expect to spend more money just to park my car. The AC was difficult and never seemed to cool down the room enough. It was stuck on 75-79, which was too warm for a 96 degree day.

Quieter than casino hotels, low key ambiance and staff, staff not rude or so money oriented as others, very helpful,

$20 daily for valet was a ripoff ... 2 moves over 4 days ... they only had to park my car once (at initial check in) and bring it to the door on the day I checked out .... Lot was open ground lot with no security ... Also toilet paper was very thin lol

The staff were great. Our room card didn’t work at first and they were quick to fix the problem. The staff are easy to talk to and very friendly. We will up grade our stay to include the Lounge area. We like having a nice quite area to either have breakfast or a drink or two before hitting the town. Matina is great, she remembers my wife from the last time we stayed there. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. We did go out some with this trip but for the most part we just relaxed. Whitney Peak help us do just that. We can wait to come back to Reno and stay at the Whitney.

Room cleaning staff took the shampoo dispenser for some reason. I don’t know why LOL. I call the front desk, but they brought us just the shampoo… no dispenser lol. My wife had them put some in a glass, so it worked out. We never got another shampoo dispenser.

Clean, up to date decor, beautiful restaurant, good food and priced right.

N Virginia street can get really noisy with revving motorcycles and loud music from vehicles. We were on the 11th floor and could hear it. Not enough night time snack for a late night sweet tooth. The mattresses need to be updated. They were very noisy and seemed worn.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hostess, Chloe, in the restaurant was awesome. The beds are so comfortable and the room was cleaned and supplied every day.

The walk around the outside of the building has quite a few homeless people that are begging and can make a single female feel unsafe.
