Everything about the location. • Staff was courteous and friendly – especially the Front Desk (woman) who worked Thursday and Friday! • Breakfast was great! • Would definitely recommend this location and would stay here again.

Everything was great however, there were a few things that need to be addressed: Room 208 • The couch cushions needed to be replaced. • Thermostat needs to be calibrated. We had it at 75° and it was still too cold. The bedroom was much colder than the living room space. • The wall outlet at the counter seating (top plug) wasn’t working consistently- the plug kept falling out as well

Room was very clean. The bed was comfortable. The kitchenette was sufficiently equipped

The room layout did not provide for a good view of the TV while in bed. It could be swiveled a bit but mainly setup for the sitting area of the room. Having a full service restaurant in the hotel would have been much better. Going out get dinner on a 10° night after checking in was not comfortable. Not a big thing, but when the refrigerator was installed, the door should have been hung with the hinge on the right side and not the left. I guess no one considered that opening the door out into the room rather than against it makes access awkward.

I was satisfied with my stay at this hotel, it was a nice. My room is big and comfortable, the towels and bedding are pleasant to the touch, the staff helps with everything except for one thing that I could not get, it is ice. Breakfast and water in the lobby are always good.

To all my requests to get ice, the staff replied that ice was in the refrigerator in my room and only needed to be turned on it, but there was no such option in the refrigerator in my room( The lady on my check in did not warn me that they take a deposit of $50 per night, I found out myself later.

Location and room type

I was charged for a bottle of water after the stay that we did not use and never saw an invoice for it until it showed up on my credit card. I call the hotel and went into the manager’s voice mail. Never heard back from them and left 3 more messages to the manager and they never returned my call. I then went to the front desk person by phone (2x) and they have tried to credit my credit card. So as of right now, I am waiting to see if the credit shows up. My biggest issue is the manager does not return calls and is never available. Let’s see if the credit shows up. The stay was April 6&7 and it is now April 24. How long should I wait for a response? How many times do I need to follow up. Sad. This is a nice place to stay

I always enjoy staying at Hyatt House. It’s very convenient to my home destination when my husband and I want a quick getaway. Always quiet and comfortable with well kept rooms. Accommodations reasonably priced therefore making it affordable for frequent stays. Want to give kudos to Sean, our hotel host, who quickly accommodated us when there was an issue with our room. He was pleasant and professional whenever we interacted.

What can I say…? I like this hotel.

Room was very clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable and provided an excellent sleep! Breakfast was generally good, although one day the breakfast meat was corned beef hash (really? corned beef hash is a breakfast meat??). Plenty of green space for dog walking. Very friendly and courteous staff. Overall, room was very quiet despite the occupancy of the property.

The TV channel selection is poor unless you are a sports addict, in which case you would love it. No INSP (or other channels with westerns), no MSNBC, etc. The loveseat in the family room area was very uncomfortable - no arm rests, little padding, generally uncomfortable. No alarm clock (or clock of any type) in the bedroom; wake-up call on phone in the kitchen area. The kitchen supplies such as plates and glasses was very limited and there was no real cookware. The ice machine on our floor was not working, and the refrig didn't have any ice either. The showerhead was a "low flow" - some folks will love it, we didn't.

The location is absolutely perfect. The serene and quiet surroundings were perfect. Also, having a bar AND restaurant downstairs means I don't have to leave the property, unless I really needed something more.

The very strong and awful odor in the hallways on the 2nd floor. I was in Room 243. From the elevator, all the way to my room, there was an awful odor of onions and body odor!!! Uugghh!! I was glad that smell wasn't in my room! If it was, I would have left.

The breakfast options were plentiful, including for those with gluten allergies. The hotel room setup was extremely comfortable, including a coach, desk, and very cozy bed. We also appreciated the kitchen, supplied with plates and utensils, a microwave and full-sized fridge. Staff were extremely friendly. I highly recommend the Hyatt House in Branchburg.

The rooms and hallways smell like cleaning products.

The man at the front desk was beyond helpful and understanding. I explained to him that I had left a bad domestic violence situation and for that reason didn’t have my drivers license on me. He accepted the ID that I was able to provide and allowed me to my room. When I had an issue with the door latching completely, he immediately moved me to a better room. Very kind and understanding.

Some lotion and hand soap in the bathrooms would’ve been appreciated!

Could have a little more variety in the breakfast. There was no play area or a small park setup for younger kids. There should be a drinking water arrangement outside the gym also as kids and other people were disturbing in between coming and filling their water bottles.
