Loved the pool and outside facilities. Great to have the bigger fridge.

There was a broken ice machine that was located in the second half of the hotel, where our room was located; we had to go completely around the hotel for ice. Not very convenient. Wish there were umbrellas at the pool to give shade, as it is directly in the sun. and more community areas with game tables. The breakfast area would be perfect, but it is closed off when not in use for breakfast.

This hotel is our new go to when we like to visit the Sandy Hook area. We’ve stayed a couple years in a row now - sometimes for a night sometimes for several nights, and it never disappoints. The entire staff is very very friendly and helpful and our room as well as the entire facility is very clean. The free breakfast of eggs, bacon and sausage, waffles plus cereals and yogurt and pastries is a fantastic bonus.

Not one umbrella or canopy within the pool enclosure. I mentioned it to management as they don’t provide any shade to make it more enjoyable as the pool is clean and very nice but in the wide open sun. There are three pergolas with seating, which are fantastic, but nothing inside the pool area to get out of the sun.

Breakfast was great including the staff.. She was very attentive towards filling things up when getting low & she was very friendly. Tables were wiped down and food area was clean.

The only thing I can say that was negative (had nothing to do with staff) other guests left the outside area near the pool, a mess. Pizza boxes etc...pool toys left all over. I don't understand people! Slobs

Hotel was pretty good, the room was decent size, it came with a robe (although only one it was the most comfy I've ever had), coffee machine, and bed was comfy. Also lobby had vending machine which was handy, and also better coffee than breakfast, which was complimentary.

Breakfast was typical terrible USA style breakfast of plastic eggs and waffle maker. Also location was about 15 minutes from Atlantic Highlands and we didn't have a car (traveling for film festival), so Uber became quite expensive to keep going in and out

Breakfast was excellent, well stocked, and fresh; the room was roomy, clean, and well-appointed. The decor had a nice, modern feel and we enjoyed our stay immensely. The staff was super-friendly and we were happy to see that it is also pet-friendly. We will be staying there again as it is central to places we like to frequent. Highly recommended!

We were unable to use the pool as it had recently been refurbished and was waiting on the health inspector to sign off on it. They were scheduled to come in the day after we were leaving. It looked amazing and we can't wait to come back and try it out!

We liked the location, good breakfast, comfortable beds. The staff is nice. Special thanks to the hotel for prolonging the breakfast time when there was electricity outage the whole morning. I would also like to thank the lady from the kitchen, whom we asked for advice on good Latin American restaurants.

The room had a bad smell (not mold, not toilet, just bad). We reserved a room on first floor just because of the pool. Yes, the pool is there, but it's out of order. Judging on the look of the paper in the lobby, it's not working for quite some time. It would be fair to write this in that introduction message you get when reserving the room.

The breakfast was good and staff was very attentive to the needs of the guests. I love how the upgrade to the facility looks.

Unfortunately the Friday night power outage and generator failure made it difficult until it was fixed. Then the accommodations were great. Also, not having the pool available to use on this hot weekend was very disappointing.

The best part of my stay was the great customer service I received. SAM, in particular, was quite pleasant and accommodating.

The main reason we selected this location was because of the pool. The website stated that the pool was closed in August. Our stay was in September for the holiday weekend, and the pool was not open. This was a big disappointment for the bday boy as well as 6 and 9 year old children. We understand the reason that it was closed, but we do not understand why it was not stated on the website.

The hotel was nice, love the lobby. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The beds and pillows were comfy. The free coffee in the lobby was the best. And the prices of the water and snacks in the lobby were very reasonable. Will be back

Excellent facilities and staff - the location was exceptional. This was a resting point on our way to our wedding, and I couldn’t be happier with our stay. The Outback Steakhouse next to the property is a nice touch for a sit-down dinner. All in all, 10/10 hotel.
