The couple that were the onsite employees (Jose and Yolanda) were wonderful, Very friendly and attentive. The room was very comfortable, with plenty of extra towels, comfortable air conditioning window unit. And the bathroom was a generous size.

The onsite parking lot is tiny and when it fills, good luck trying to find street parking. It would also be nice if the property provided beach passes. Other properties offer beach passes included in the rental, but not this one.

We loved the location, how cute the property was, and it was well kept & clean. We had a super cute swinging egg chair in our room that was comfortable. I can’t say enough good things about Josh the inn keeper. He was very kind, checked in on us, and managed expectations. He even let us know he had replaced our window AC unit to counter act some unexpected circumstances - we were kept nice and cool! It was a really special trip for us in a special place.

Truthfully, the parking lot is small but Josh is really great about making sure everyone can get in and out. It can’t be helped in a beach town!

The property is very clean and in an excellent location. It is walking distance to restaurants and the beach. Josh is super friendly and helpful. He goes out of his way to make sure you have everything you need.

When we arrived at the Salt water inn ,e we where greeted with a smile and even was able to check in early. Our accomidation was perfect. Just the beach feel we wanted . We were able to walk to the Beach and the staff was pleasant & helpful. They served a Coninetal breakfast in the AM that just hit the spot ! We are already talking about spending a week there again next summer! Kudos to Josh so friendly and made us feel at home

I liked the proximity to the beach. The facility was quiet which is a real plus. Parking was challenging as the lot was full on our first day, but I’ve traveled to Belmar before and did expect this.

Sugar control is my new normal, so continental breakfast rarely works for me; my husband loved the selection though.

Breakfast was really just coffee and coffee cake, which was fine. Glad of the mini-fridge so I could keep some other things. Host was very kind and communicative.

There needs to be some way to hang clothing more than just a single hook inside the bathroom door. I brought an extra over-the-door hook of my own, so I was OK but without that I wouldn't have had anywhere to hang up items.

Belmar is a lovely quiet town and Saltwater Inn was perfectly situated to the beach and the restaurants. Wasn't expecting breakfast so was delighted in the morning when I found they had cereals, pastries and hot drinks on offer. The Inn has a covered porch which was delightful to sit under whilst having a few refreshments and a game of cards. Joshua has a very pleasant manner and was on hand should we needed anything.

Breakfast was OK/I am gluten-free dairy free so I didn’t eat anything because there are no options. There is no dairy free options for milk for coffee.

There’s some where in the shower to put your things, and the water seem to be leaking out of the shower a little bit. Bathroom is really cold compared to the rest of the room.
