We love holiday inn and it’s a great hotel brand. Nice staff and good infrastructure. Very clean and friendly.

The lady at the front desk gave our family a warm welcome but two door keycards which were proved later that only one can work. And the more we live in Holiday Inn, the more we become confirmed that most of holiday inn don’t provide microwaves and hot water. It’s really not convenient especially when kids or family really need during a long travel.

It was mostly what I expected for the price.

The tv remote only worked for a short time. There was no tv guide on the remote or in the room. The remote battery died but I was able to shut off the tv using buttons in the back. I reported the dead battery; hopefully it was fixed. Not one towel rack. Inconvenient.

Staff

Bathroom needed a refresh (shower head and new shower curtain which was ripped and too small water went out on floor so used my extra towels as mat so I didn't slip and fall). In addition, bad signal and TV not able to connect at times.

The room was so clean. We’ve been to a few hotels and places, and must say that this has been the best surprisingly. From the outside looks old, and the elevators were old as well. However, it was so well maintained from the lobby to the dining hall. And the people were so attentive and kind. They went out of their way several times to help us feel comfortable and welcomed for our night stay near Princeton. Very impressed from their amnesties, and their soaps were amazing. Hotel soaps always were faulty on past stays; drying and pre-used. but here they used dove soap and packaged materials that were easy to use.

The only issues we came across was the carpets in the lobby. Sadly they had stains that seemed to not be able to come out. But there was never a smell. The chairs as well looked somewhat older/not clean. Also, the dining tables for breakfast were very wobbly to the point of almost flipping over.

The room size was good. No issues. Check in was easy and fast. There was no safe deposit box in the room which seemed odd because it is always present in most good hotels. There was a fridge and coffee maker. The breakfast was not bad. All the basic usual things were available. Bed was nice and comfortable. Location is perfect, right on Route 1.

I didn't like the counter height in the bathroom which is most important for me. I check the bathroom photos before booking any hotel all around the world.

The overall environment and room were fairly comfortable, and the service was nice.

However, a few areas need improvement: the air conditioner was quite noisy, there was no bottled water provided, the coffee machine didn’t work, and there was a strong unpleasant smell from the trash bin near the main entrance.

The hotel was close to many venues. It had good parking. It was clean and neat. Good restaurant. Food tasty. Breakfast was ample but didn't have all options listed on menu board.

First night ate at hotel restaurant. Food was good. Just one person on duty so we had to find them. Food was fresh, hot and tasty otherwise.

The hotel staff were uniformly extremely friendly and helpful. The room looked very nice -- as a former area resident, I loved all of the pictures of Princeton around. The location was convenient, though you need to look at the address carefully -- there are a LOT of Holiday Inns around there, and it would be easy to wind up at a different one accidentally! I didn't use it, but it's cool that there was a pool there.

The carpet in the room was kind of breaking down and flaking off, and the bed was a little too firm to sleep on comfortably. I wish the restaurant, which seemed otherwise quite nice, had had some simpler foods available to eat when I wasn't feeling well.

Restaurant and bar were empty! Prices were VERY high. They should offer a happy hour to get more clients. it was also difficult to tell if room service was available. There was a room service button on the phone, but it wasn’t mentioned on the website or menu in the room. Also, housekeeping tried to get into my room twice between 9am and 10:30am on my check-out day. I had to keep telling them to wait until I checked out. it should be standard to wait until the guest checks out to clean the room. Especially when the “please do not disturb” sign is on the door!

Convenient location. 10 Minute drive from Princeton University. Room was spacious and the be comfortable. The breakfast was good. Very cost effective

The property is not new and shows some signs of age, but regardless it was fine
