The hotel is ranked top in my list of hotels in NYC due to the following reasons: 1 - the location is wonderful new to the UN building and walking distance from all services (groceries, laundry, restaurants, entertainment) 2 - friendly staff: I had a great experience since I arrived at 11:00 and the check-in time was at 16:00. Adina “the receptionist” exceeded my expectations is expediting the process to check me and my friends at 14:00. I really appreciate her high sense of customer service especially when I was flying for more than 15 hours. Thank you Adina 3 - the high security standards in the hotel. 4 - the room I checked-in to was spacious , clean, had nice modern furniture, and a spectacular view of the city

The check-in time is really late @16:00

The room was large and the beds very comfortable. I also appreciated having a tub. The staff was wonderful!!

I was very upset that I wasn’t told about the $35 daily charge in addition to what Booking.com quoted. They explained that I could use that $35!towards food at the Ambassador Grill or the UN Cafe, but they were quite expensive so I would not normally have my food there. I also wish they had laundry service! I was also sad that it was an 11 minute walk to the nearest subway station.

The lady who checked us in could have been nicer and more helpful. I had forgotten to bring one of my credit cards so I had difficulty checking in. The lady who checked us in was not helpful or nice. She added to my stress levels. We went back to reception about two hours later, there was a gentleman at reception at that stage. He was extremely helpful and so nice he sorted everything out sorted everything out, which was excellent. Nothing was a problem for him, which was such a a relief. I didn’t get the ladies name,?which I regret. From that moment on everything else was Excellent.

View from the 30+ floor was amazing with clear views of Freedom Tower and Chrysler - ask for rooms that face both the river and skyline! Good value for money.

No swimming pool facilities.

Location. Was near my work meetings location. Excellent view overlooking the Hudson river. Has a Cafe at Lobby. Friendly staff specially Ms. Adeina, she's so kind and friendly and made our stay very memorable.

The new policy where they deduct $35/day for each room which you need to use it as credit in Cafe with no option to Opt out. The Security guard with the dog surprised us with suddenly letting the dog come very close to us to scan without giving us heads-up so we won't be surprised. Would be great if he gives heads-up to Guests next time.

The experience was nice as far as the hotel was concerned.

Room 3230 was playing loud music. I totally hated hearing it. I wish the hotel had rules posted on the limit someone can play loud music until a reasonable hour. I don't know how late it was when I actually fell asleep, but com'on, as soon as I woke up, it was blaring like what the hell is wrong with people? Can the hotel do something for the patrons that just want to get a good night's sleep? I am a Hilton Honors member and it seems incredible the hotel hasn't brought this the matter to those who stay. Views great from room Window and food in restaurant downstairs was amazing and got a free $30 off!

We would like to thank Ms. Adina from Reception desk- she made our stay super and we are so grateful for her hospitality. She made effort to find perfect room as we were on honeymoon (also thanks to her manager). Second thanks goea to Ms. Daniela feom UN Caffe who is making best espresso in NY!

First person we met at reception was very rigid man and first room he gave to us had many flaws. Thanks to Ms. Adina, all was taken care of (including alergens I reported in advance).

The lifts took ages

The corner king room has an excellent view of the East River & Ed Koch Queensboro Bridge, it also had an amazing view of The UN Complex. I liked that the location was walkable to Grand Central Station and the Upper East Side.

I did not like that there was hair stands on the couch, on the bed and on the shower curtain. I am not sure if it was the housekeepers or the person that stayed before I did. Although it did not ruin the stay, I did find it a bit unsanitary.
