The floor-to-ceiling window in our room on 24th floor with very impressive skyline view made the experience. The location was ideal for shopping on 34th Street.

The room was a little rough around the edges with chips to tiled walls in room and ensuite and general wear and tear. The reception was on the 6th floor so you generally bypassed this each time you accessed your floor from the ground floor. The elevators were very busy at times (wait times up to 15mins) and crammed full of people. Also, we stayed 5nts and the room was not vacuumed once during that duration which was not ideal.

The location was the best. Interior is done tastefully especially the elevators. Staff is super friendly and helpful.

My bath tub hose was not clean.

Location was great, rooms and views were great.

Service was a bit poor, we tried to check in early and they told us they didn't have any rooms available at 3, which was fine. They told us they would contact us if any rooms came available early. We waited until past the checkin time at 4 and still didnt receive a call, so we had to wait to check in late. Kind of annoyed that we were told we'd be contacted and that didn't happen. Felt like they didn't care about us. The bathroom in the lobby was also filthy when I went in to use it. The bathroom in the room was also a bit dirty, sink was cracked.

We were travelling to New York for our Honeymoon from Australia. We were staying at the Renaissance for Christmas and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The hotel has a modern aesthetic, with interiors that reflect the New York energy. The lobby has a wonderful bar and they have live music every Wednesday. The room was comfortable and larger than expected for a new york hotel room. The rooms are also extremely clean. The hotel staff are very attentive and they provided a room upgrade to a higher floor which was greatly appreciated as we were staying in new york for 6 nights. The hotel is in a prime location, within walking distance to a number of attractions and close to several subway stations.

Overall the stay was fantastic but please note that it can be very loud with sirens, events etc.

Beautiful property. Only disappointment was I paid for a high level with a better view but when I went into my friends non-upgraded room it was larger and had an amazing view. Won’t waste that money again.

The room was spacious (particularly for midtown Manhattan) and the bathroom was well-appointed. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Out of all the other three hotels that I've stayed in recently in midtown (in the last 6 months) this was my favorite. It was a good value, a great location, and a more upscale hotel. I would book again.

The only issue is that the cord to draw the shades in my room broke, but the hotel staff responded promptly and someone came to fix it while I was out of the room for the day.

Friendly and professional staff. Convenient to the subway and some good restaurants. We very much appreciated the unlimited free water bottles and bar soap with virtually no scent. Nicely appointed room with enough horizontal space to put luggage and other belongings. We appreciated the quiet mini fridge in the closet. The elevators worked well. The bed was moderately comfortable.

I realize we are in a huge city, but this location seemed particularly noisy. The location was also in a bit of a sketchy area; we were on high alert. Not a fan of having a glass (even though it is "frosted") bathroom with a barn door that doesn't seal.

Security was great. Very clean hotel. Very nice staff. Felt welcoming and accommodating. They gave my boyfriend some goodies to surprise me with for my birthday and two complimentary cocktails the night we arrived. The views in the skyline room were amazing! The staff also gave us a complimentary late checkout at 2pm and held our luggage for us before and after check in. Great location that is central to everything. First time in NYC and I was scared if the location was good or not and it was. On the same street as the popular bagel shop liberty bagels. Also next to a good pizza shop for cheap slices of pizza.

Once inside, it’s very nice. Clean, has attention to detail in terms of construction. The lobby is modern and comfortable. The room was beautiful. Very clean, again modern, and I could see myself living in it. Service was exceptional. They held my bag for me, before I checked in and after I checked out, so I could explore the city without being weighted down. The concierge was gone for the day, but the receptionist stepped up to help me.

When I went, construction workers as occurring outside. There were some homeless near the entrance. The entrance bellhop was there or not there, and depending on who it was, just held the door open the entire time they were there.

Wonderful helpful people, stylish decor, comfortable and relaxing room, convenient location close to the Penn Station. I ordered the room service, it was super fast and the food was delicious!

I love everything about this hotel.
