My family recent stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Melville left us with a good feeling. The facilities are new, thoughtfully designed, and spacious, creating a warm and modern ambiance that feels both inviting and comfortable. I will say this hotel is an excellent choice for families, offering a perfect balance between practicality and style. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms, in particular, stood out for their generous size, making them ideal for travelers with large suitcases. The rooms were equipped with TV and storage, the view was nice and the curtains and blinds were excellent for black out. The bathroom was equally spacious and well equipped, with nice toiletries. We also appreciated the complimentary coffee and tea in the morning and apple cider in the afternoon, a thoughtful touch that made our stay even more enjoyable. One of the highlights for us was the outdoor gathering area, which features a cozy fireplace—a perfect spot for relaxing after a day our and about. The gym, though not large, was immaculate, filled with natural light, and had all the essentials for a good workout.

If I had one suggestion, it would be to reduce the number of TV screens in the common areas, as a more serene environment would enhance the overall experience. However, this is a minor point in what was otherwise a fantastic stay.

For the price of the room I feel like continental breakfast should be included. $381 for one night in double queen room...breakfast should be included in my opinion. No exhaust fan in bathroom. No lighting beat shower so it was a little dark in shower.

The location was ideal for a wedding we were attending. Love the Hilton Honors check in process - no need to go to the front desk, go directly to your room (that you have selected) and your cell phone is your key to the door. Bed was comfortable and pillows were great.

The breakfast wasn't worth the price. Oatmeal was a blob - had to add hot water just to be able to eat it. It was your standard hotel breakfast with an omelet bar. Coffee wasn't hot and with a full hour to go they were out of a varoety of choices.

Modern, spacious room. Work station for computer. Lots of outlets. Large TV. Keurig coffeemaker. Excellent air conditioning. Bathroom with generous space, shelves, for toiletries, etc. We were asked if we wanted full service housekeeping and we accepted, which, of course, was included.

Only one thing. The bathroom did not have any ventilation. Rather warm. Front desk told us that was the design of hotel(!) We solved the problem by placing towel to leave the door open. Bathroom door was heavy and did not stay open by itself. Bummer.

Staff was very attentive and efficient with taking care of our requests. Plenty of parking, good heat specially during rough winter and snow and location is close to the downtown area/malls.

Gets an 8/10 since the king mattress we had was a bit too much on the firm side causing some toss, turning and slight back pain the next day.

We liked everything about it: the room, location, food, staff. The fat sausage was a pleasant surprise with breakfast compared to the usual skinny sausage. The room suggestion was good because it was quiet. We didn't hear our neighbors. The outdoor grounds were nicely maintained.

The staff was extremely kind and accommodating. The location for perfect for us as we were visiting people in the area.

The shower was not as clean as it should be. More firm pillows are needed as a choice.

No vent in bathroom which made it stuffy and difficult to use the mirror. Could use better lighting in there also in addition to the actual room.

Young woman at the desk in the afternoon/evening was knowledgeable, helpful, kind, and always cheerful. Rooms were large,bright well equipped and clean. Grounds were beautifully maintained. Nice outdoor spaces.

Since you asked, the price for Saturday night was triple the cost of any other night. I get all the reasons you’d do that, but it seems like price gouging to me. It’s not Manhattan, it’s Melville! Changed my trip dates to avoid Saturday.

Rooms were clean and comfortable, all staff was kind and helpful. Lovely entrance, you feel greeted. Great location.

Noisy neighbors but that's not the hotels fault. I requested a room change and the accommodated me very quickly and without question.
