The Inn does not offer breakfast. They provide coffee, packaged Danish, some bananas and apples. The outside porch offers great views of the lake. The staff, especially Leslie, were friendly and courteous. Leslie responded right away to any concerns or questions.

I was surprised to find no hand soap in the bathroom. No small bottles of anything are offered. We went out to buy shampoo, shower soap, and hand soap for the bathroom. The incessant tractor-trailer traffic to and from US Salt during the day is annoying. Apparently we should have had some kind of signage to let staff know we needed linen change, cleaning, but we did not ever see the sign.

The room was really clean, and had a beautiful view of the lake. The beds were really comfortable. The balcony was wonderful for watching the sunrise. The breakfast was enough to get you going - coffee, hostess cakes, fruit and juice boxes. The people running this facility (and their dog!) are wonderful and empathetic. We were allowed to check out late due to a personal emergency, and seeing how distraught I was, the manager even tried to get me to stay longer and just have a rest. In a world of "let's use AI for everything" a bit of human empathy really goes a long way.

Really the only point I could think that was negative - no coffee makers in the room. I like drinking coffee after 4 and that doesn't seem to be an accepted practice around Seneca lake :D easily solved by getting cold brew and storing it in the fridge.

The view was spectacular and the balcony was a big bonus especially for morning coffee. Didn't matter that it was shared. The beds were really comfortable and the room temperature good. We were pretty early for check-in, but they said to come back in 30 minutes - just enough time to have an ice cream in the village! There is a railroad between the inn and the lake, but the infrequent trains don't run at night. The tiki bar on the lake was great too!

Mattress was not very comfortable for us personally. When we came in the room and there were a few flies flying around but that could’ve been done because the sliding glass doors don’t have a screen and the last guests maybe had it open. Rooms not very well lit, need brighter bulbs. Wish the balcony was more closed off from the rest of the guests because it’s all open but the view makes up for it.

First of all, you are booking a 2 star rated motel, so keeping your expectations with that in mind, it was great. We stayed in a room with two beds. Room was quite spacious. It had a bar fridge and microwave. Man and lady there were friendly, view facing the lake was great, place was clean. Two chairs and table for us in the room, and table and two chairs on our balcony overlooking the lake. We sat out there with our drink. Coffee at breakfast was very good. Located about one mile from Watkins Glen gorge. We would stay there again.

The included continental breakfast was very minimal. Only white flour and sugar products.

Location was good, steep driveway to get up to the motel. Weather could have been better than view of the lake would have been great.

There was no indication that the breakfast would be in office the next morning. We knew their restaurant had closed a week before we got there, but had booked prior to knowing that. Would have liked to have seen list of close restaurants since we don't like to drive after dark especially in places that are unknown to us. Ate at Elephant Thai, it was great and fairly easy to find. Was unable to check in until next morning when we were checking out; key was available in envelope in small lobby but no one around to ask questions. That's when we found out coffee and danish, etc were available inside lobby. Wouldn't have checked out so early, but we wanted coffee first thing in the am.

The location was good for us, the room had a great view and was very comfortable. Nice terrace overlooking the lake. The Tiki Bar was fantastic although steep steps to get down there. Thanks to Wayne for a ride back up the hill.

Unfortunately we had a long wait at reception due to another guest having difficulty paying. Also unfortunately when using the bathroom for the first time there was urine stains and hair under the seat. We explained this to the staff at reception, they apologised but didn't offer to send a cleaner or provide cleaning equipment.

Our cottage overlooked the lake which even though it was not the best weather, we really enjoyed. The rooms were very nice and the kitchen had everything we needed. We especially liked the fact that there were TVs in each room

The very steep hill was a little hard to navigate and parking between the cottages was difficult but manageable. The water in the shower was messed up and we had to call the desk to figure out how to get hot water

Room was clean and comfortable, with nice balcony and view of the lake. Staff was friendly and helpful. We booked partly because it’s dog-friendly.

Parking needs to be rearranged, it was awkward trying to back out of a diagonal space to get to the only exit. Our room had a king bed but only one nightstand and lamp, not conducive for two people. Nice they offered free continental breakfast, and while coffee was ok, the choice of Hostess pastries was meh.

A large room in a nice location by lake Seneca. Included two queen beds, a desk, a table, two chairs, and a couch. Also a microwave and a fridge. Less than a mile from town and restaurants. Everything was clean and well organized. Carpet was new, and there was a great, shared deck outside our room with a great view.

It's a well maintained, older Inn. The bathroom is small by today's standards, but very functional. Beds were firm for our taste.
