Excellent staff with greetings at the front door and easy check in/out. Personalized welcome made me feel at home Daily housekeeping did an excellent job. Very clean rooms every single day. A full kitchen! The snack basket! A beautiful and warm lobby, so welcoming! Breakfast offerings were way better than expected, and the staff was attentive and worked hard every morning. This place CARES! When I get married, I'll be hosting it here and putting my family and friends up. 5-star hotel, 3 star prices. God bless folks, great job.

Shower head and light blocking curtains could stand to be changed.

This was a great stay my family. The hotel was welcoming and cozy feeling on arrival. All staff we interacted with from arrival to departure were friendly and kind. Our room was larger than expected (I didn’t realize we’d have a kitchenette), very clean, and the beds were quite comfortable. We will definitely stay here again next time we travel to the Hendersonville area.

I have no real criticism; the place was great. Only thing I can think of is that I prefer to make hotel arrangements over the phone (yes I know occasionally it can be a little more expensive this way but I like to talk to a person) and when I tried to book by phone I was told there were no more vacancies for my dates and the phone representative tried to sell me a room at a different hotel further away than I wanted to be. I went ahead and booked online and there were no issues. Booking.com said that the room I got was the last room available so maybe there’s a disconnect between what the phone reservations people know and the online reservation sites know.

Selma was amazing from the very start of our checkin. This was our first stay and I was happily surprised at how cozy and well appointed everything was. Our dog was also super comfortable and we loved seeing how dog friendly the property was.

I do wish the bathroom was one enclosed space, rather than a toilet/shower enclosed and separate open sink/vanity area. The vanity/sink area is kitty-corner to the bed so there's no way to muffle the sound of the faucet. It made me and my spouse wake up anytime either of us wanted to use the bathroom and wash their hands afterwards in the night.

The Lodge far exceeded my expectations! It's the little things that make this property stand out. Chocolates on our pillows, free bottled water, and friendly staff are all so inviting! The beds are so comfortable! Soft with the perfect amount of firmness. The room featured a kitchenette with a full fridge, stove top, small sink, and bar with eating area. Roomy and spacious, this was such a lovely room for our girls trip with friends! The staff is amazing! Salma, Scott, and David work incredibly hard to maintain the property and provide a familiar face. Scott had us all laughing about bears and snakes! While some may view the lobby as a little bit dated with all of the browns, I think it adds to the lodge feel! Breakfast! Can we say mini feast? Eggs cooked 4 ways, corn beef hash, pancakes, biscuits, gravy, cereal, fruit, a variety of pastries and more! The indoor pool is heated and fabulous. It has a beautiful view of a hidden oasis on property! A deck area with gas fire pits, a lawn with a small water fall. And a private little romantic seating area tucked away in a lightly wooded area. They even have grills! This place is perfect for a vacation or event!

The only negatives that we experienced was a downstairs neighbor complaining about foot steps 5 minutes after we returned from the pool at 9:15pm ... But that is no reflection of the hotel and one of the kiddos did get excited and jump up and down for a few seconds. As far as the property the pool is l deck is extremely slippery. I was thankful that there were pool towels which we put down on the tile to avoid any bumps or bruises

Our stay here was amazing. They are dog🐕 friendly, which was a major plus with us. The staff was incredible. They had a hot breakfast bar which was very good. My biggest issues with hotels are rooms that are not dark enough and the beds are so uncomfortable. NOT THIS HOTEL🏨👏 The rooms were pitch black and the bed was so comfortable. This is actually the first time I have got rest when staying in a hotel. Kudo's 😁😍 And they don't charge an arm💪and a leg🦵. Would definitely return.❤️

The Lodge is located in a very quiet area and convenient to the Flat Rock Playhouse. The lobby was beautifully decorated for Christmas and having a fireplace was a plus. Our room had huge windows overlooking the wooded grounds. The staff is super friendly and helpful and we will be staying there the next time we are in Flat Rock.

An exhaust fan in the bathroom would have been nice. Tub/shower instead of a walk-in shower. Not a problem unless you are a senior citizen.

The staff are absolutely wonderful. We left an iPad behind by mistake and they called to not only let us know but also offered to ship it us. Luckily we were passing through on our way back and we’re able to pick it up/stay another night. Very welcoming, helpful, and warm. Comfortable room, the king suite was large and the set up made it feel more homey than most hotels. You get a cute little basket of water and snacks as well as a welcome note/candies waiting on the pillows. Again, special day touches that aren’t done much anymore in generic hotels. The indoor pool was also great.

The breakfast was not the best, definitely something that could be improved upon.

The place is absolutely beautiful during Christmas time. The wood cabin vibe was awesome. When we arrived they had our names in a key holder with our name on it. We had a printed welcome letter on our bed, and good bye letter given under our door upon check out. The heated pool was well kept had towels on the arm of every chair. The staff went over and beyond to make sure our stay was great! Very convenient to the interstate. The rooms were stocked with your unconventional complimentary items such as popcorn, packs of crackers, bottles of water, and more. We had the king suite which included a full kitchen with all the kitchen items, and our king room was separate from the living space that had a pull out bed. Everyone was incredibly gracious and helpful during our stay.

The wi-fi was spotty. It barely worked on my phone. I did get it to work on my laptop as I had some work to do while I was there. The televisions weren't super clear. They need to upgraded to the type of cable that is being used. The breakfast didn't include a waffle maker or fruit. Those would be a great add on from the hotel.

The breakfast was Awesome. The whole experience was great. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The room was terrific. The beds were very comfortable. Very clean and smelled fresh and clean. It had a kitchen that was better than mine at home.I would highly recommend this spot to everyone The grounds were also amazing,waterfalls, courtyard and plenty of room to walk your pets. Also the television was huge unlike the usual small ones in other places we've been.

Everything!!!!!! The staff were friendly and attentive. The environment and grounds were beautiful. The hotel was rustic and cozy. The hotel in entirety was spotlessly clean. The beds were amazingly comfortable. Having the kitchenette was handy and saved us quite a bit on our budget to cook and eat in our room. The heated pool was amazing and relaxing. My son has autism and he was ecstatic over swimming in the dark with just the light of the pool. I will definitely stay here again and again when traveling through.
