The best thing about this refurbished hotel was the fact that Bob Evans Restaurant was 5mins away. Staff responded quickly when I reported desk chair was broken on arrival,changed it out. Close to freeway. Room was clean/comfortable.

Only the Main entrance gave you entrance back inside. Other entrances only let you exit. So it was a trek with the dog. Also had to pay $100 deposit for any damages. Waiting for its return to my acct. Breakfast consisted of prepacked pastries, prepacked juices, and granola bars. Cereal,waffles,oatmeal,apples. Would have liked a bench outside to sit with the dog.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. From the moment I walked into the beautifully designed and inviting lobby, I felt at ease. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially the maid who kindly offered extra towels and washcloths without hesitation—and delivered them promptly. The room was spotless, the beds were very comfortable, and the entire space felt safe and secure. I also appreciated the ample parking available on-site. One highlight was the breakfast—most of the items were pre-packaged, which made it feel more hygienic and convenient. Overall, the price was just right for what was offered. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, safe, and pleasant place to stay for a few nights.

They had coffee and tea but, I would have appreciated having decaf coffee available. The location offers easy access to major roads, which was convenient, but dining options nearby were limited, with the closest choice being a nearby gas station. One downside was the entry system: the side doors were locked at all times. While you could exit freely, you couldn’t use your key fob to re-enter, which meant walking around to the lobby—an inconvenience, especially since our room was at the back of the property. Other than that it was a nice place to stay and I would do it again.

Convenience of location was very close to the Camaro Faĺl classic car show at Summit Racing we attended with my car and was pretty close to fast food/restaraunts for us to get something to eat, clean room and my camaro was closely watched on security camera which helped me sleep that much better.

After I swiped door card to get into room, door wouldn't open properly unless you gave a real hard push to get door to push away from door frame catch, please fix this issue as nobody should have to shove a door open in order to get into their room.

The property was clean and comfortable. We had room on the main floor so not sure about the stairs or access to the second floor. Breakfast was good, microwave breakfast sandwiches and waffles. Not fancy but enough for our needs. Room was clean and we loved that there was tile instead of carpet.

Not really a “dislike” but just for information…. There are not extras in the room like a coffee station and it would have been nice if the mini fridge had a freezer to refreeze our ice for our cooler. But considering how nice the rest of the hotel was and the reasonable price this was not a problem.

The people were extremely friendly, welcoming and informative. I liked how neat, fresh, clean and modern my room and amenities were my bed was very comfortable as well. It was my first time staying here and I am looking forward to going back to this particular hotel and location for my needs when I need to visit Akron. This was a really excellent experience and I appreciated how nice everyone treated me and that there was a continental breakfast included as well!

The LOCATION is excellent, just off the highway but secluded from the noise and view of traffic. We discovered a zigzag route to Market Street which took us directly to the Akron Art Museum (for an awesome 2024 eclipse party) and the Akron Zoo the following day. There is plenty of fast-food nearby: Arby's, Wendy's and McDonald's are about five minutes away (via the above-mentioned zigzag: R onto Gilchrist, L onto Canton, R onto Mogadore) or you can walk to Hardee's or Subway! And you needn't go far to find a Walmart Supercenter (Exit 31 off 76W, L onto Talmadge). The STAFF was friendly and helpful. They were tolerant and understanding of our adult special-needs son (who sometimes wanders around and talks to himself). We even had help getting our luggage from the car to the second floor! The ROOM itself was typical of what we can afford as a vacationing middle-class family, but spacious with plenty of elbow room. We're easy to please and define luxury as not having the bed smack up against the wall and being able to pass each other going opposite directions between the dresser and the foot of the bed--but heck, we can't do THAT at home!!!

The staff was excellent. They are renovating area of the motel and the ice machines weren't in place yet. However, all you had to do was go to the front desk and they would get you ice right away. If you needed anything the staff was more than willing to help.

I wish the key pass on the side door would have been working. The staff did try to help you going in and out the side door. We had a handicap room and I just wish they would have had better shelf space for your toiletries in the bathroom. It also would have been nice to have more desk/table space. Also, the soft chair in the room needed to be cleaned. However, I am sure if I would have asked for a different chair the owner would have brought one in.

Hotel was clean and the personnel was very polite and helpful. We stayed 2 nights and did not get maid service after the first night but we brought our towels down and we were given fresh towels. They did everything they could to make our stay comfortable.

Yogurt would have been a nice addition to the breakfast and maybe a toaster but other than that the buffet was good and clean and the service was excellent.

The hotel is located just off the interstate but we didn’t hear any road noise. The room was exactly like the photos and very clean. Breakfast was included in the price with lots of choice of muffins, oats, fruit and cereal bars along with a waffle machine. We knew there wasn’t a coffee maker in the room so brought our own. Overall this hotel is fine for an overnight stay and good value for money.

I didn’t like that we had an interconnecting door and could hear the occupants of the next room. Luckily they were quiet after 9pm but up early at 6am. If staying here again I would request a room without a connecting door.

The property is clean, newly renovated and just an absolute diamond in the rough. My son and I have stayed in a few locations recently in portage/summit counties and this hotel was the lowest priced and the CLEANEST , MOST COMFORTABLE, QUIET, and where we felt the SAFEST, of all 4 of them! The staff is kind and attentive, the beds are comfortable clean and new! The floors in the room have planking in lieu of carpet which is what you want to see in a shared space. The shower water pressure is incredible. 10/10 our new go to place to stay! Thank you for having us and thank you for taking pride in being a hospitality company!!

Other than the lack of pool/gym, nothing. I do believe these things are being added now during renovations on the 2nd building on the property. The first building has been renovated already and that is where we stayed. Ee also did not hear any construction or noise. truly we have NO COMPLAINTS AT ALL.
