Very accommodating, nice, and dog friendly. Rooms were clean, the fridge was cold, and I love the step-in shower. Big room, and on ground level with walk-out which is easy to potty dogs. Will be back next year!

The only thing that worried me a little was the lock on the door. Being a solo traveler I am always safety aware. However..the lock was solid and secure.

Not new or fancy, but it does exactly what I hope to get in a roadside motel - comfortable bed, fridge, microwave, wifi, 24h convenience store, and I was offered a complimentary drink (pop or beer) on arrival. Will definitely use them again! Restaurant next door was also pretty good.

No coffee in room, but I think they had brewed coffee available at reception.

Nice clean comfortable rooms with very helpful people working the front desk. Good working showers with a microwave and a fridge in every room. Gas stations and fast food within walking distance for food and drinks when you need them. If you need a spot to stay where you can feel comfortable and welcome, this is the ideal spot

When I walked in I thought is was just for truck drivers. The office looked a little gruff & the parking lot is a small gravel lot. The staff was super nice. He has a welcome bag for visitors with 2 bottles of water & some.snacks. the room was clean & well stocked.

The room was clean but really needs updated & fixed up. The bed was hard, almost like a board with a thin matress pad on it. For just a 1 night stay, it was ok, but I wouldn't stay longer. It's next to a Pilot truck stop so I heard that all night.

This motel was a pleasant surprise. Don't be fooled by the exterior. The rooms are good to go. I actually live in North Lima and needed a room for a couple days, due to our power being off. We decided to give a small business a shot, and i'm glad we did. Excellent shower, clean room with plenty of space, pretty quiet for being close to a truck stop. There is a restaurant located next door and plenty of other options less than 10 minutes up the road. The motel was also 50% or more cheaper than other local hotels. It is now my goto if I need a local room for a night or two. I would highly recommend The Davis Motel!!

This motel looks very rundown from the outside, but the rooms aren't bad. The upstairs rooms are quieter and newer, but seemed a bit dark to me. The ground floor rooms on the front are brighter, but are smaller and older. I chose a ground floor room in the back, which is on an alley. I was apprehensive at first because I'm a woman traveling alone. However, the room was clean and quiet and I didn't feel unsafe. The WiFi was good and there were outlets by the bed, which was comfortably firm. The shower was hot and strong, and there was cable TV. There was also a fridge and microwave, which was a nice convenience. Clean towels were provided, and the rooms were cleaned daily.

The motel looks seedy, and the parking lot needs work. However, the owner and staff are extremely nice, and make you feel welcome. The location is pretty good if you have a car. It's not so good if you don't because it's right off the freeway and there aren't sidewalks by the hotel, nor much within walking distance. Overall, it's a good value for the money if you're on a tight budget and don't care much about "curb appeal." I extended for a third night, and I would stay here again.

Right off highway. Great hotel for the Rogers Fleamarket. Most friendliest, nicest hotel host I've ever met. Hotel was quite at night. Bed was comfortable. Shower was awesome. Next to a bbq restaurant with ribs, bar and pool table. Great price. There are no complaints. Highly highly recommend!!!

Since we had the upstairs queen room (but did love this room!!) Has lots of steps and would be nice if that parking space in front of door was left for people staying in that room since we had to make so many trips up/down for a 3 night stay with luggage for 2. Would have been nice to park in front of door not clear on opposite side.

It reminded me of Shitt’s Creek from the outside. The rooms are very simple, no frills, and a bit like a time capsule but the room was clean and more than enough for a night’s rest along the road. They have a mini fridge and microwave in the room and a small fan in the room and the key was an actual metal key. It was a blast from the past. The two folks I interacted with were also super friendly. Especially the man I checked in with.

The location was great, right off the toll road. Breakfast was not provided but there was a McDonalds across the parking lot. Staff was very friendly. It appears they allow smoking in hotel rooms in Ohio, we had a non- smoking and it smelled nice and fresh and as if it had never been smoked in. It also appears this motel was added on at some point in time, rooms at the end which is where we stayed had a newer heating/cooling unit. We were in room 17, I would guess rooms like 15 - 20 are newer. If we returned I would request a room near the end. Next door is a smokehouse restaurant which had wonderful food!

Motel is nice but old, parking lot needs some work. Everything worked fine in the room. NOTE: The motels response to Marilyn’s review who stayed at the motel in Sept. 2023 was that the parking lot was repaired. I don’t know what parking lot they are talking about as everything I saw was still badly in need of a repair!

Great price, located just off the highway, not far from Youngstown State where I had a job. The staff was very friendly, quick to get me checked in, and gave me 2 bottles of water. There is also beer for sale and other cold beverages for sale in the office.

Bring a small fan in case you’re on the side of the truck stop. Also, the bed was fine, but could definitely tell the mattress was older.
