The owner was exceptionally friendly and helpful. I understand that it has been a challenge for the owners to renovate, upgrade and clean up the od motel and the grounds and is ongoing. However, the room was clean and as updated as possible due to the age of the building. It would be nice if the old lounge could be renovated back into a restaurant and bar, but that is probably just a dream.

The motel owners have done their best to make it a pleasant overnight stay, but the location is a challenge. There are no decent restaurants nearby, apart from a Denny's which is mainly a trucker's place. There is a drive up restaurant across the highway, easily accessible, but only serves picnic style food and ice cream. The burger was delicious!

The couple who run the place and their sweet dog were so kind and friendly. Loved the character and charm of the cute A-frame and the interior of the rooms. Everything was clean and fresh and comfortable. There was an issue with booking.com and the room I reserved sold out but they were still able to accommodate me which I was super thankful for. Can’t wait to come back!!!

It was all good. A bit noisy in the morning due to it being right off the highway but that was to be expected and didn’t bother me at all. Also the room seemed to slope downwards as you walked towards the back end which was more amusing than anything.

This is a perfect place for travelers who need to rest for the night. It is a cute little place, but most importantly, safe and clean. The place is family owned (new management), and they run the place. They are really nice people and are working hard to bring this nice motel to its best.

Honestly, it fulfills its purpose. It is not a 5-star hotel, and it's not intended to be. This is the best place to stay if what you are looking for is somewhere safe, nice, and clean to stay the night.

Very interesting place. Probably built in the 60s. All of the units are little A frames. Very clean and comfortable. Staff is very pleasant. They really pay attention to ecology concerns - bamboo tp, powder shampoo and conditioner in paper packaging, a basket for recycling in the room. Plus a nice flock of chickens! Quite reasonably priced.

Not many amenities- no pool, hot tub or breakfast

I forgot to ask their names but the couple that was on the front desk (which I’m assuming are the owners) were super nice and offered me great conversation and tips for the following day trip. The room was also great, with great decor that followed the vibe of the motel as a whole. It was cozy and relaxing, not to mention super clean. Would definitely stay again.

I can’t really think of any. I was only there for a day but seemed great overall.

We enjoyed the independent rooms-no noise from neighbors. Though small, the room was clean, comfortable and more than we expected for the money. I personally appreciated the in-room DirecTV system that allowed plenty of viewing options.

The a/c unit was a bit noisy, but amply cool. I have nothing more to complain about. The bed was a bit small, but comfy for a spring-type mattress. We slept well.

Great stop for a night! Fantastic vintage architecture with modest restoration (new roofs). We appreciated the efforts towards environmentally friendly bath and coffee products- great touch! Comfy beds, mini fridge, coffee maker, microwave and tv. Not fancy, but cozy and we loved the vintage style, our family loved the loft with a bed!

The owner of this motel has made an effort. The cabins are absolutely wonderful and cozy. The man that checked us in was super friendly and a lot of travel information is available in the reception. You can also borrow games and puzzles. The resturant was not open but we didn't mind as the bar was nice. It has a cozy local pub-feeling and the bartender was just as friendly and service minded as the guy that checked us in. If we didn't have to go out for something to eat, we probably would have stayed there all night. We felt right at home and we would love to stay here again.

Check in was fast. Room was clean. Room had fridge and microwave.

Do to the design of the room it was easy to hit my head when getting out of the bed. I should have slept on the side that was in the center of the room.

The newish owners obviously put a lot of thought into the property including sustainable/ eco friendly consumables for guests and a nice patio area.

Can’t complain much, it was a great price. The only thing I can think of is to change the shower head that made for a slightly awkward shower experience and to add hydraulics to the doors.
