We booked our stay on the recommendation from a friend who travels the route regularly and stays at the Emlenton Travelodge. We had a some trouble finding the lodge entrance since it goes though a service plaza. As we approached we questioned our friend's recommendation, thinking it may be a "truckers motel." Although we reserved through Booking, we asked to see a room before telling the staff that we had a reservation. Due to staff's ready accommodation of this request and the room's cleanliness and comfort, we stayed for the night and had a restful night of sleep, despite highway traffic near by. Interestlngly, we saved $30 by making the reservation on Booking rather than directly with the travelodge!

There's a very attentive and pleasant staff. Location is perfect for emlenton and kennedale and all other surrounding small towns. The convenience of the truck stop restaurant is very nice. And the room is clean and comfortable for sleeping and hanging out.

The noise from the highway really can't be helped. It's part of the history of that area and I'm glad I get to visit. Other than that, it's a beautiful place to visit. Just get some nice ear plugs.

We travel frequently through this area to visit family. This hotel came up on my Best hotels in area search. It did not disappoint. Conveniently located. Excellent staff. Newly remodeled and extremely charming. Super clean!! Comfortable beds. Lovely amenities. Discounted breakfast at nearby restaurant with a great breakfast and lovely staff. Great value!We will DEFINITELY BE BACK!

Nicely renovated motel by the highway, excellent breakfast in the restaurant next to the motel, perfect service. We chose the accommodation because it was on the way to our next road trip destination and because there is a possibility of canoeing on the Allegheny river. Boat rental in the area (20-30 miles) to the rental shops in Franklin or Parker.

I don't have much to complain about, the accommodation fulfilled its purpose.

The decor was very quaint and welcoming. The breakfast was a nice touch! We used the fire pit and hung out a bit after we arrived. We had to bring our own wood, but it was fine. We were inly there from 9:45 to 8am the next morning.

There was a septic odor in the office that was explained to be a slight backup of the drains in the laundry room. I was told it was being worked on.

Usually "good value" implies that a few aspects of the hotel may be lacking. The Travelodge in Emlenton delivers a comfortable stay at a good price, but there is so much more to that rating. The property is newly renovated, with a delightful rustic theme. There are pleasant outdoor spaces to relax and enjoy the surrounding. It's close to the highway, but definitely not close to the noise. Staff was professional, pleasant, and genuinely interested in making our stay comfortable.

It's a little hard to find with our GPS. Just call the hotel and they will guide you to the property. Location makes it close to the interstate yet removed from the noise.

Right off the highway yet far enough away that it doesn't bother you. Check in was a breeze with a very pleasant young man Owen. The rooms have been recently updated. Some thought went into the decor which is nice to see. You get a coupon for breakfast at the nearby restaurant ($10 value). All in all, I couldn't have been more pleased with my stay.

The breakfast is fantastic. You get a voucher for restaurant down the hill so you get a full menu to order from and the food is quite good. The beds are legitimately comfortable and everything is clean and recently renovated.

The A/C in my room was not turned on when I checked in and, although it cooled off quickly, it seemed like it stayed humid.

Absolutely beautiful renovations to this motel. Rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. Love the rustic decor. Very well done. Bigfoot is a big thing in this area!

This location does not do the hotel justice….needs to be a mountain retreat! Hidden behind a Pilot Truck Stop. Needs towel racks Maybe an area rug or two?

Quaint little motel . Loved it ! Just stayed over night and it was perfect for that . Very quiet . Thought we might hear highway traffic but didn’t hear a thing . Love the travel restaurant voucher ! The food was delicious,very nice place to eat . Definitely will stay again if I get a chance .
