My family (about 17 of us) had a wonderful weekend reunion there and we all rated the hotel excellent! None of us had any complaints about anything! It is very family friendly. We brought our dinner out to the back porch and had a great reunion/mini party there. The kids enjoyed the swimming pool. We loved the kitchenettes in every room fully stacked with cutlery and bathrooms were spacious and neat. All rooms have microwaves, dishwashers and refrigerators - unlike a certain place we stayed at before in Lancaster, Candlewood really exceeded my expectations for the price we paid!! We are already planning another stay there in the near future!

Location and staff was super. Our room was very nice . When we needed more towels and coffee packs, we asked at front desk and they gave us what we needed right then. We wanted to go get a bite to eat and asked at front desk did they have any suggestions..They gave us a list and when we asked did they have a favorite she highlighted a few for us. We truly enjoyed Centerville Diner 1. Had a great weekend get away watching our grand daughter playing in an indoor Field Hockey Tournament. Candlewood Suites was a good fit for us.

Would have liked a bit firmer set of pillows. For a couple in a studio suite we missed having a second non office type chair in addition to the one recliner.

The room was perfect for our family of 4. I was pleasantly surprised by all the cooking supplies in the kitchen along with the size of the kitchen. We realized we forgot to pack shampoo but the hotel had dove shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and body lotion which was amazing since that is what my kids will use. Free coffee down stairs along with tea bags and hot chocolate.

The only small thing was the pool not being heated, it was a little too cold for my liking. My kids did not mind it being cold and swam.

Front desk staff, Robin, Brandy and Kathy were great. They are super nice, helpful and accommodating to guest's needs/requests. Manager (George) even noticed that my car windows were down and informed me when it had begun to rain, which was greatly appreciated. Having a full size refrigerator, kitchenette with a cooktop and a dishwasher, is great and allows for meal prep rather then having to rely on takeout/ fast food. So much was great, however the side guest door's lock was broken for my entire recent 3+month stay, awaiting a part to come in to be fixed A big part of why I choose Candlewood is easy entry/ exit (away from center) due to physical disability needs and PTSD, and it being broken was a daily issue for me. It should be noted that after I voiced my struggling to staff that they offered for me to call them to come to the door to let me in if they were available. Which was a wonderful gesture, and I did so a few times when in severe pain, but I felt uncomfortable requesting that, routinely.

The hotel offers the convenience of taking food from the mini store on the ground floor. However, they only provide automatic payment using the card on file from check-in, with the total amount debited at check-out. Unfortunately, at check-out, I found it impossible to obtain a detailed statement of the items taken. They only provided the total amount without itemized costs. I recommend recording the cost of each product every time you use this service to verify the charges later

Honestly everything about this stay was amazing. My boyfriend and I stayed in August of 2024 and it was a wonderful experience. The staff was amazing!!!!!!!!!! They were so helpful. It was very clean and if you needed anything at all they tried their best to get it to you. There was a leak at the hotel and they cleaned it very quickly and called every single room to update them. I would HIGHLY recommend staying here.

The sheets would not stay on but it wasn’t that much of a bother.

There was no breakfast

The staff at our check-in was not welcoming or friendly or professional. We asked about local eateries for recommendations and we were told to "just google it." There were no smiles, no extra chatting, just very bland. The staff at check out was very nice though.

the availability of complimentary laundry facilities. the housekeeping staff and their friendly help when asked for something. easy access to hwy and shopping for groceries and staples.

when I booked I thought it was much closer to the Lancaster amish. while the drive wasn't bad i was hoping to be closer. not anyones fault. maybe the description could've been a bit more revealing. the frying pan wasn't teflon so it was caked with old stuff not removable with dish soap, luckily I had a scouring pad (sos pad) that cleaned up the stuff.

The beds we nice, had a recliner in the room and a full size fridge. The kitchen was a nice addition and bathroom was spacious.

The pool room had a horrible chemical smell. Had to open the outside door just to sit in there with our kid. Had a sign posted about quiet hours but no one abided by that. The hotel was far away from the attractions we were interested in seeing. The towels were stained.

Clean. Very reasonable rates. Staff was very helpful. They had a pool and workout room and a pantry. Quiet place too. Comfortable beds. And I could bring my cat.

No breakfast. However, knew this in advance and brought some food, plus they had items in the pantry that could be eaten for breakfast too. However, it’s helpful to have a breakfast available for everyone. It was the first time I’ve ever stayed anywhere, small or large, that didn’t have breakfast.
