This is my second year staying at the Victorian Charm Inn and it was just as delightful and restful. The caretakers and staff are very friendly and engaging. You can tell they take pride in helping to keep such a beautiful and historic home alive and welcoming. The home isn't perfect, given it's age, but it's perfect for me for a weekend hideaway. And I LOVE that the Mandeville Room has its own private, screened-in balcony. It's bit noisy with traffic, but the balcony is an absolutely delightful spot for reading, Bible study, and enjoying the trees outside. The breakfast was the perfect combination of continental selections and fresh. I will definitely make this an annual respite weekend.

Towanda is a cute little town, but it doesn't offer a wide selection of restaurants for a foodie like me. I have found a couple of wonderful places to eat, thanks to the suggestions for locals. The challenge with a home built in the late 1800's is not having enough outlets for our modern technology. I had to get creative if I wanted to use my laptop. LOL.

The experience was superb, with great hosts and YES, fellow guests making us welcome. Not many places can offer a piano recital. The original furnishings, the presentation and victorian style of every room was excellent. A place that embued charm and originality. Requires little attention to some facets of comfort. Lovely breakfast and placement

Water pressure weak, shower non functional and missing a plug in the sink. The road noise was disturbing - more so at the front rooms. Breakfast served with cheap polystyrene bowls - detracted from the ambience and pleasure. We would still encourage those who want a unique experience to book.

the building was victorian with amazing woodwork and design of the floor plan, pocket doors, ornate stairway, stained glass windows. the caretaker met us at our car, showed us how to use the electronic door security, gave us a history lesson on the building and told us how to contact us if a problem arose. (non did) he also carried our suitcases up to our room on the second floor. this was greatly appreciated because we are in our seventies and the ceilings are high causing more stairs to climb.

because this is an old building the electric outlets were few and far between requiring extension cords. this could be improved on.

the location , we went to a show at the kystone Theater right in the villege . once you are inside of the house it is very quite guest were all polite to each other. Staff was very informative and helpful , very nice people. house is beautiful dose need some outside grounds work done.

the shower was alittle small.

The first few days I had the whole house to myself. It was nice and quiet. there’s a steady stream of traffic out front, but it wasn’t very loud inside. Very nice music room, it’s been too many years since I played piano, but the piano seems to be in tune. They have a huge front porch and on the second floor there is a really nice little balcony.  it is definitely an older Victorian home. I did enjoy the antiques that were there. Very pretty.  I had an Air conditioner, refrigerator and a microwave! (There was a TV but I never turned it on, so I’m just assuming that it worked. ) And I loved having my private bath. Nice, hot shower. I was on the third floor, which wasn’t bad at all.

Towards the end of my stay, there were many more people that came in. Wasn’t a problem in the house, but parking filled up pretty quick.

The interns of the house are really beautiful and well maintained. Everything was very clean and dust free. There was silence and peace. It is a walkable distance from the center of Towanda, the river and a very good mexican restaurant.

The continental breakfast was under the expectations, very very basic.

Thank you so much for waiting for us to show us our rooms! We arrived around 2 hours after the max. check-in hour due to travel issues but they waited for us to welcome us in. Breakfast was also great, we were tired and hungry from our long drive so the breakfast definitely helped us. We really enjoyed our stay, it is a beautiful house.

Everything! The house is so beautiful, there were lots of parking space available, the wifi work well, the beds, rooms were comfy and clean, there was hot shower, and the hosts, housekeepers, were amazing! Very hospitable and lovely people! They even were kind enough to make breakfast for every night, the breakfast was really delicious! There was really nice crispy bacon, eggs, fluffy pancakes, and really nice fresh peaches & apple cider, & bananas. The town of Towanda was also really cute, quaint, has a nice river walk, and the people were very friendly. Will definitely recommend!

That our stay was too short! 3 days goes really fast here!

Loved the ambience of the Inn! It was in a good location for what we wanted to do. The hosts were friendly and greeted us as soon as we arrived. The property seems to be well-maintained.

One of the beds in our room squeaked every time I turned over or sat down on it.

They didn't hover. If you needed something, you texted. Other than that, nobody was trying to " chat". It was enjoyable.

Blew the breaker using coffee maker and toaster. Could use an upgrade in electrical service in the breakfast room.
