The location in Surfside is convenient and quiet but close to many attractions. There are several small local restaurants close to the hotel which is great.

Ran out of hair conditioner in the dispenser after 1 use. Went to the front desk and asked for travel size; but they did not have any at that time. Front desk stated they would have it refilled next morning but two days later and still no conditioner. Just frustrating something so minor could not be fixed. Also, we understand not changing sheets/linens but when you are staying at the beach it would be nice to air out/flip the sheet to get any sand off it before throwing the comforter back on. It was like an unrequested exfoliation the second night.

It was right in front of the beach, and everything was clean.

I chose the hotel for two specific things: a crib and breakfast. None of them were as described or expected. I requested the crib in advance, but when I checked in, the front desk person said he was not sure they had cribs available for me. Then, I got the crib, but it was all metallic, and the rails were sturdy and dangerous for a baby to sleep in. When I made my reservation for 4 adults, I chose the hotel because it offered a complimentary breakfast. However, after I made a non-refundable reservation, the hotel messaged me that breakfast was only for two people, and I had to pay 17 USD for any additional breakfast. Not that I wouldn't go back, but I would rather choose another hotel over this one.

The bedding, including the linen, duvet & especially the pillows, were amazing!!! We actually ordered ourselves the same linen for our home online this morning!

Like having the ocean front room. Got to enjoy sunrise and sunset and people watch on beach. Beds were very comfortable.Everything was close by. Lots of restaurants and shops near by. The Surfside pier is in walking distance.

We didn't like the chairs on balcony very uncomfortable and they were also dirty. Had not been wiped down. Some of the bath amenities were empty had not been refilled. We didn't eat in restaurant but talked to someone who did and they said don't bother wasn't good. It didn't look very big and looked like cafeteria style.

The staff was really nice, everyone we came across was kind and helpful. The balcony and view were lovely. The beach, pool and spa were great. I liked the bench to sit on in the room. The queen beds were actually queen beds, sometimes they are really a full size and they were comfortable. They had the hotel beautifully decorated with lots of furniture to sit on and relax.

I wish the pool was heated, it was too cold for me, but my kids didn’t mind. But it is off season, it probably feels great in June. The only real issue I had was other people staying on the property smoking. They were not supposed to, and they did say they would ask them to stop, but they really can’t stop them. The pot smoke was coming from 2 rooms as least. You could smell it in the hallway and on the balcony. It was so strong! Then regular cigarette smoke on the balcony too, which actually stinks worse than the pot smoke and drove us back inside several times. We saw a guy tell them to stop, but later they started up again. It’s frustrating, you pay extra for that balcony and can’t use it as you would like.

The location and balcony view were awesome. Easy ocean access. Convenient location to anything you want to do. Friendly staff. Overall, it was a very good experience. Room small but sufficient for two.

The two elevators were very slow. For most of my stay, only one was in operation. The bed was comfortable but not great. The bathroom door would not fully close. The restaurant breakfast was okay but not a lot of flavor to the items that I ate. I wish the room was spacier.

We liked everything about this resort. Location, cleanliness, beach access, saltaire restaurant for breakfast. I wish I would've found this place sooner. We will be back.

Beautiful resort! Loved that there was a restaurant within. Great pool, hot tubs and access to beach! Staff was friendly beds very comfortable!

The room had glass sliding doors but only opened a few inches due to the fact it went out to roof top. Would have been nice to know when booking!

The location was excellent, the hotel was older but very well kept. We had breakfast once in the hotel but the restaurant was very busy and understaffed. So happy we didn’t pay extra for the breakfast package. We took advantage of the laundry facilities, very nice and very affordable. Would stay in this hotel again!

The restaurant could be better staffed and prepared to serve all of the patrons.

This place is more of a resort than hotel. Excellent location great staff very clean property. The restaurant’s food was actually pretty good also. I had a great ocean view which was priceless. I highly recommend staying here I will be when I return.
