the staff are AMAZING. Very helpful when I requested a room with an interconnect, very helpful when there was an issue with a neighbor. Just overall Very friendly and helpful Staff. My 15 year old son was in the room next door to our's (with an interconnect between us) and he was excited over the fact that his room was so much bigger than our's LoL. I did use the work out room which was equipped nicely and suited my needs. We never did get to use the pool, we were only thee a couple of days so maybe next time.

breakfast could have been better, very bland and not very many choices. The a.c. in the room felt like it just couldn't get cool enough which was ok considering we were out and about more than being in our room.

Stayed here a few nights recently for a work trip. The room was comfortable and there’s a lot of amenities nearby. Charleston is a big draw that’s only 30 minutes away, so this is a good central location. Also, this is nicer than some shady looking hotel neighbors. Quinton, the bartender, had really good energy. Tried a food item that I didn’t enjoy. He insisted I come back and try the next day. I did so, and it was significantly improved. I really appreciated that pride. Employees were pleasant and helpful. Will come back and stay here again.

I was a little disappointed in the gym amenities. Some more free weights would have been nice.

The staff was very kind and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, the bartender was very friendly, the food I tried from the restaurant was good. Location is a bit loud as it is close to the interstate, a high traffic area, and surrounded in very close distance to several other hotels. However I did appreciate the convenience of being so close to the interstate after a long day of travel, and being right across from Walmart when I needed a supply run.

General area noise, the room was in a bit of disrepair (ceiling patched up, tub ceramic chipped, coffee maker did not work - although I acknowledge this was probably user error and there IS 24/7 coffee access in the lobby so this was a non-issue)

Our room was very nice. However, the facility is under renovation and our room needed to have updates completed. Exhausted fan did not work and was falling off of the wall..Painting the trim and under the sink was not completed. Some of the hooks on the darkening curtain were missing on the end. This is picky but the front desk clerk did not know how much the drinks were in the machine so he gave me change for a Five , Machine only took Debit/credit cards. Last the entire hallway to the room apparently the air conditioning was not working. We had to pay a $75 refundable fee I assume for damaged that we have to wait three to four days to process a refund to us. The room should be free of repairs prior to booking to guest. A positive note.. the breakfast was wonderful and so was the staff.

I have made my statements above.. Complete repairs before giving the room to your guest, train personnel.

Staff manager on Friday was very accommodating as our bed was extremely uncomfortable. We were told they had ordered new mattresses. Mgr. Found a room with the better mattress so we could sleep that 2nd night. Rooms need updates. Large hole behind the toilet, ceiling paint was falling down. They're in the process of updates which was the 3rd week in March. One of the USB plugs didn't work. The Bartender was very friendly and was working hard as there was a b'day party in one of the hotel convention rooms. Clean around the lobby and grounds

We loved how clean everything was. The lobby has beautiful decorations. Check-in was super easy and the staff was friendly. Our room was extremely clean. My husband and I went to the bar that evening and had a wonderful time chatting with the bartender (I wish I remembered his name) and one of the locals. I really can't wait to come back and hopefully stay longer

I wish the bar opened before 5 pm..I also wish there was something besides sports or news on TV. The only other thing I can say is I wish they offered more mixed drinks such as a bloody Mary or a rum runner to name a couple. I'm sure they could have been made but offering on the menu with a price would make it better to save from asking a lot of questions and seeming annoying.

I was pleasantly surprised. After reading some negative reviews, I found our room on the 5th floor to be nice. There were dogs staying but all seemed to be on the same floor (2) and were not an issue at all. We stayed 5 nights. Breakfast was very good with several hot choices served buffet style. Better than the typical hotel breakfast. Housekeeping only services room every 3 days for stays of 4 nights or more but you can get extra towels and trash removal if needed. All employees we encountered were friendly and helpful. Would definitely choose this hotel to stay again.

The only improvement would have been daily room service by housekeeping, but not a big issue.

Excellent breakfast buffet. Glad to see turkey sausage and bagels, and that there were several hot dishes and also fruit. Staff at breakfast were friendly and helpful.The comfort of the chairs and the beautiful decor were charming. My room was spacious, quiet, and well supplied. The king bed was very supportive.

Would appreciate "real" scrambled eggs and biscuits that weren't crumbly. Also, TV should be on a calm channel like HGTV - not reactionary political ranting. Had to close my ears to it. Parking was good but an extra disabled spot closer to the door would be a good idea.

This is a great location. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, but like many of the areas of the hotel, needs some fixing up. The lobby staff was very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast had many options from cold cereal to sausage gravy and biscuits. The ladies who worked the buffet were very nice. There's a bar and food options available in the evenings. This is a dog-friendly hotel with a small charge.

There are areas of the hotel that need some fixing up, there was some damage to the bathroom door in our room and the desk was a bit warped. The elevators and their areas could use some cleaning.

I loved The breakfast, it was really good. I also enjoyed the bar and sitting area. Very clean and organized. The room was very comfortable and the price that I paid to stay was excellent. Especially in the area that it’s in. So much to do and see around that area. Honestly, you could walk that’s how short of a distant for most of the places. I will be traveling there again.
