The room was clean, modern, and comfortable. You really can't get anything else like that for that price. I was very happy with my stay! The bathroom was nice and big, I loved the modern minimalist style of the room. I arrived later in the evening and left early the next morning so I didn't get to take advantage of any amenities other than breakfast, but it was delicious!

The extra lock on my door was broken but the deadbolt still worked so not a major issue. I also had some super obnoxious neighbors but that's not the hotels fault.

Gentleman who worked in the breakfast area was so much better than the regular lady who was normally there. Supplies were out of stock when she worked and she was always on her phone rather than wiping down tables and emptying trash containers like the gentleman was constantly doing. He needs to be the regular guy and she needs to work elsewhere as she doesn’t seem to take pride in her job and had a very “sour” and unfriendly attitude as he was so pleasant and energetic and always doing something as she just stood around looking at her phone. I was there 7 nights and had breakfast every morning so saw the difference when he was covering her days off. Never once saw her clean a table or empty a trash can - he was constantly doing this!

We stayed here for our 20th anniversary trip and we truly enjoyed it. Great room, clean and the window seat was great for putting our luggage.

The only negative thing I have to say is the tv is older, I rented Dances with Wolves on Amazon (because South Dakota!) and there was no airplay or way to stream to the tv. We went to Walmart and got an hdmi cord to hook up to the tv and every few minutes the screen would go black. After about an hour of that, we turned the movie off.

The staff members were all very friendly and willing to answer all questions. The room was nice, clean, and comfortable.

They told me upon check in they would place a $100 hold on my card. I agreed. Today they charged me the full amount and the $100 was $215. I called and asked questions about it and was told it could come back in 3-10 business days. I am extremely unhappy with this.

The lady working the front desk, Stephanie, was the best. Friendly, professional, helpful, full of knowledge, a real joy to talk to. The breakfast was always hot, breakfast room always clean. The Staff that cleaned the room left the rooms looking like no one had stayed there. Clean rooms, bed made, bathroom clean, outstanding job!!!

This place had just had a major rework, everything was new and there were a few glitches. Internet Password did not work the first time I tried it, The T V cable was always going off, I had to reboot the HDMI cable box every 30 to 45 minutes. Luckly I was out doing stuff and did not have much chance to watch TV. There were other minor glitches, but again Stephanie at the front desk was very helpful.

Very comfortable beds. Excellent shower with hot water and strong pressure. Friendly and helpful staff. Convenient location near shops and food. Helpful on-site laundry.

Awkward suite room layout: TV is only easily visible from the bed, not the sofa bed. Breakfast is just okay—very carb-heavy. Noticed some questionable characters in the parking lot occasionally.

The price was reasonable and it included breakfast. Beds were comfortable. Overall clean. Would definitely stay again.

Breakfast could have been better. A little more variety would be nice. And should have two waffle makers, but at least they had one. The options were biscuits and gravy cold cereal oatmeal muffins/toast/bagels and waffles.

Pet friendly, friendly staff, close area to take the pugs out for their business, elevator equipped from 2nd floor pet room, good breakfast and centrally located for Custer State Park, downtown Rapid City attractions, Mt Rushmore and the Crazy Horse Memorial. A good 5 night stay though I recommend 5 full days there.

Room AC was noisy but got accustomed to it. A little pricy for pets.

Great stay! Friendly staff, very clean room and comfy beds, breakfast was good, and the location is very convenient for visiting the Black Hills area. Both days, the breakfast was kept up with and always clean, which is exceptional (most hotels fail on this). Would stay here again next trip through the area!

The only thing I would change is to have a chair in the room (there is nowhere to sit except the bed).

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Bert, at the front desk, gave us several ideas for places off the beaten tourist path to visit. They are in the middle of updating their building. Our room had been renovated. It was bright and had a window seat that you could curl up in. The bed was comfortable! The biscuits and gravy for breakfast were good.

The bathroom was dark and needed more lighting. The pillows were hard, offsetting the comfy bed. Breakfast was adequate but the plates were too small for even one waffle. However, the day they had biscuits and gravy, I enjoyed them. The only protein option was boiled eggs.
