Location and amenities at the hotel were great. Lots of options of things to do and tours pick you up at the hotel. Really convenient for vacationing in the area. Hotel staff were friendly, personable, and accommodating. We ordered from the dinner and breakfast menu at the restaurant. 4 out of 5 stars. I had the eggs Benedict and it could have used a tad more flavor, but good for a hotel breakfast. Much better than standard continental. Service and quality were great.

Arriving before Check-In time, the Front Desk securely stored my luggage until my room was ready to Check-In--so I could go to Lunch w/ friends w/out carrying the case around. Meals at the Restaurant/Bar were GREAT and the Staff took care of all requests and needs. In addition to my Service, The Holiday Inn Cvc. Ctr. also took care of residents of the Apt. Cmplx. nearby for the elderly--due to an accident that damaged their bldg. and caused a Gas Leak requiring Emergency Evacuation. The service to these people was exceptional from all comments I heard from them. I will DEFINITELY stat at this Holiday Inn the next time I visit Rapid City for any event or occasion. Thank You to them for a great experience!

I cannot think of anything I disliked. The Room, The Service and The Meals were all exceptional !

The Holiday Inn has an lovely interior atrium, quite a revelation. Very comfortable room and welcoming staff. The Gold Bison in the base of the Atrium is highly recommended - super friendly staff, delicious food and the kitchen stays open fairly late which was much appreciated when we arrived on an evening flight.

The location is a bit of a walk from the central strip of Rapid City - no problem at all by car - can't fault it otherwise though. Lovely place to stay.

The restaurant was excellent and the servers there extended themselves in many small ways. They recognized me after the first day and knew to offer me tea instead of coffee! The room was very comfortable and the location, while not particularly walkable, was easy to find.

The shower was kind of scary! Super forceful and hard to adjust.

The hotel is in a good location within easy walking distance of the downtown area. There is ample parking space. The staff were polite and helpful and gave us an early check in. We had a suite with separate sitting room and bedroom. There was more than enough space for a couple. The room had a pleasant view over a park, was quiet and had comfortable beds. We slept well. There were adequate, reasonable quality, towels. The kitchenette was useful. We rated the hotel at 4 star standard.

The kitchenette could be better equipped. Some cutlery, crockery, a kettle and a toaster would have been helpful. The room was expensive, but this is probably a consequence of inflation and exchange rate deterioration.

Besides being very clean, warmly decorated-the staff was very helpful---I haven't had this friendly competent and gracious a staff at a hotel in a couple of years--I travel quite a bit and I usually stay 4-5 star so these people are excellent. the pool was a big hit for my grandkids every night. the restaurant and morning buffet was excellent.

Everything was very very nice. Even the temperature was easily controlled, the laundry room was clean and working well.

The pool was just “okay” The front desk staff must have been overworked because the young man (the only one at the front desk) was really struggling, seemed overwhelmed, and pretty rude to most of the people that came up there, and rude to other coworkers. The park nearby was a bit sketchy; we felt unsafe a few times.

The staff was great, friendly, and respectful. They were able to adjust our booking to a king room instead of a double queen when asked due to an app glitch on our end, it was top notch service. It would have been perfectly acceptable to say they couldn't adjust the rooms but they went out of the way to help us.

Unfortunately there is no breakfast service included with the room when we visited.

It was perfect location for a concert at the monument. We were able to just walk over and walk back. The rooms were clean though there was some spotting on the side of the chair in the room.

If you get motion sickness or get the spins easy this isn’t the one for you. I guess my eyes are sensitive because I couldn’t walk next to the railing while looking over in the middle without getting immediately sick. It was also pretty expensive for what we got. But getting a drink coupon and free breakfast tickets was pretty nice!

Hotel was well positioned for a quick drive into the city was ample parking and a comfortable bed. We got a $5 voucher for the bar which was a nice touch

The bar prices! We drove through 8 states during our trip and 2 beers were 20 dollars even after the voucher more expensive than Chicago which surprised us
