My son and I differ on this facility. I liked it very much. An old motel very well kept up and maintained. The parking is a challenge but doable. Plus, they have more parking tham meets the eye. It is walking distance from downtown (restaurants, parks, art, etc.) It was raining too much to enjoy the pool. The personnel were great! We had to leave a day early (emergency arose) and they were very accommodating.

My son didn't like the stairs in the rain. Me, dad, old guy, didn't mind! Plus, parking bothered him. Understandable as we have a full size RAM with 2 bikes on the back. A Honda, Toyota, etc. Were fine whipping around.

I looove the Non-Smoking and No-pets Allowed perks. Apart for the couple of negative issues, it was better than expected!!

The only two things that kind of almost ruined were: 1) A child in the swimming pool screaming his head off. This is a small motel, sound travels AND I rented the room to have some so much needed "Peace and Quiet." 2) The bedroom curtain was in the falling mode, so we got the morning sun which awoke us, before we wanted/needed at 06:00 AM and that wasn't part of the plan. Hopefully the motel will enforced that parents control their loud children, because the place is Neither too big Nor an amusement park!!

The location is hard to beat. This was my second stay at the Town House and because I go to Rapid City to visit a friend that lives downtown just blocks away, so walking access to the downtown is ideal. I like the simplicity of the Town House where you can just open the door to your room and be outside...instead of walking into miles of corridors to drag your bags through. Furnishings in the room are a little dated but are clean and comfortable. I'm sure I'll be staying at the Town House next time I'm in town.

I felt right at home here I did not want to leave. The staff were all helpful and friendly. Pool was great. People were great. Location is perfect. As a motorcyclist, you can't get any closer to Needle Eye or Iron Mountain Rd., Sturgis is 40 minutes away. This hotel is downtown. Within short walking distance to coffee places, eateries, shopping, post office, grocery you have to go a little further, but everything you need is within a 10 minute drive or less. I was very comfortable here.

Wish there was laundry facilities.

I arrived late at nite because of a delay of my flight. There was an "emergency number" to call for late check in left on the reception door, which was closed at that time. I did not have the possibility to enter the hotel facility and nobody answered the phone so I left a msg on answering machine then I slept in my car... The following morning a girl came at 7am and opened the reception and I explained what happened : she told the manager about this matter and they did refund me the price and apologize.

This motel is conveniently located making all the sites in Rapid City accessible on foot which is wonderful. The room was perfectly fine. The whole room was clean and satisfactory. I had a pleasant stay. Parking was great and abundant.

This is my first experience with a motel. All descriptions are true. Great motel, clean, convenient location. Nobody bothered me, everything was great. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for budget options, but with excellent comfort. It was especially pleasant to communicate with the manager Sean. All the best to your motel.

That they made an accommodation for the time of my arrival. Contacted me and were helpful. The staff were very pleasant. The room was what I needed. It worked. And it was pretty nice

The dust on the furniture. It wasn't dirty it just was short of feeling clean. The stairs are steep to the second floor. I wished that day check out was an hour later.

Staff was extremely cordial and accommodating. They were very friendly and made you feel at home. They gave awesome sight-seeing suggestions as well as advice of the best way to go places.

We really don't have any complaints. Our needs were met during our stay, and we will probably stay there again.

The manager was awesome. He is friendly, accommodating and helpful. The room was updated and clean. Great sleep. The pool was awesome. Restaurants, coffee houses, post office, gas and shopping within walking distance.

Some rooms are still in need of upgrades but they are working on it.
