Breakfast was excellent. The sausage patties were not the cheap stuff. This breakfast both morning exceeded other motels plus everyone working there was friendly & went out of their way to chat & make sure we were not in need of anything.

No non smoking king rooms on ground floor. Had to take stairs just inside front entrance. Man at check-in did offer a girl to help with luggage if we needed it. We don't let females carry my luggage where I'm from. non second floor ice machine but at least there was a working ice machine on the first floor.

Receptionist was very welcoming, helpful and informative. We found the bed and pillows to be especially comfortable. There was plenty of space for all of our suitcases. Our room was well appointed with nice touches, eg a box of tissues. Our room was very clean and in very good condition. It was good to be able to walk to a nice restaurant close by. It was lovely to have scrambled egg on toast for breakfast rather than ultra processed food.

We found our fridge to be noisy during the night. We reported this to the duty member of staff. We prefer two bedside tables rather than one. More sockets at table height would be better for using a kettle and recharging electric toothbrush. However, this was a superb hotel.

Great stay! Very nice receptionist. Rooms were tidy, had TV, fridge, Hairdryer - overall were looking neat. The breakfast... best one we had while staying in Motel since LA. Eggs, meat, waffles, coffee, yogurts, juices, muffins - they had it all! Hotel was clean, big parking lot - Ice and vending machines accessible. In this money? Bargain

Furniture was quite old, and you could see it is not a "brand new" facility - but everything was clean and polished!

Breakfast was just fine. Eggs and sausage were hot and cooked the way I like. There were waffles which seemed to be popular. Toast, juice, coffee, tea and various other breakfast foods like bagels were all available. The eating area was clean and tidy. All good

The breakfast made available provides a more than adequate selection of quality breakfast foods and the dining area is clean and comfortable. For a free breakfast benefit served daily it’s difficult to be to judgmental. If I had to find a fault I guess I’d say maybe add bacon and some fresh fruits, but sincerely I think their breakfast is just fine as is.

The staff was very friendly and the facilities are comfortable. The breakfast was much better than most budget hotels with scrambled eggs, sausage, fruit, and more. Everything feels safe, which as a lone traveler I appreciate. I find this a very convenient and pleasant place to stay.

There are no elevators, so that can be an issue for some. The shower had a shower head that could be adjusted for different sprays, but it wasn't working well and was stuck on a spray that wasn't very effective.

Great value, 20 minutes from Canyon, 40 minutes from Canyon State Park, and 10 minutes from Amarillo Airport. Very clean and quiet, with very friendly staff. The only things to be aware of that are negatives are that there is no elevator and the pool was out of service. Also many places to eat within a five minute walk. (Denny's, McDonalds, Wendys, Schlotzskis,IHOP)

The staff were always wonderful, and ready to go the extra mile for guests. Checkin was fast. The room was clean and ready. Staff watched the free breakfast and quickly filled up any empty items. Will stay here again.

Some road construction on I40. Of course hotel has no control over that.

The room was pretty good size and the bed was really clean (I thoroughly check every time I stay in a hotel) the bathroom was clean as well. I didn't get to have breakfast here so don't know how breakfast was. Oh and the staff here is super friendly and helpful.

I didn't like how packed the parking lot was but there was a an event the next day and it was in the summer so that might have been it.

Thanks to the staff for your attentive attitude. At our request, we were provided with a room with a large bed. Quite normal breakfast. There was an outdoor pool. The location is convenient, easy to find the hotel and not far from the highway, moreover, it is quiet and good to sleep on good bed linen. We personally especially remember this hotel because we met friends there quite by accident, it will leave an impression forever.By the way, not far away there is an excellent colorful cafe for dinner.

The staff's communication at Baymont was outstanding. They were attentive, friendly, and eager to assist, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable stay. The pricing at Baymont was reasonable, offering great value for the quality of service and amenities provided. The affordability made our stay even more satisfying.

Baymont by Wyndham Amarillo East has potential, but some improvements are necessary. Special attention to room maintenance and an expansion of breakfast options would certainly enhance the guest experience. We look forward to seeing these improvements on future visits.
