The room was very comfortable and clean. The whole hotel felt like it was on the new side and everything we saw was in good condition and clean. The staff at the front desk were helpful when we checked in and throughout our stay. We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.

What makes the hotel convenient (if you have a car) also is what makes it an unfortunate location. The hotel is tucked up against a very large highway cloverleaf. Our room faced the highway so the noise was particularly loud. Luckily the air conditioner in the room was able to mask the noise of the highway once the window covers were closed. The homeless population in the area was noticeable. We felt bad that the front desk staff had to deal with the non-guests who tried to enter when guests were coming in for the night.

The location is near the 6th street and South Congress (around 10 minutes from both), so is ideal if you plan to do a lot of tourism. Parking is free. The rooms are very nice and clean, and the interior decor of the lobby is great. The hotel includes a bar and a pool table. Rooms include a clothes steamer. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

Do not pay for breakfast, they do not offer any breakfast other than free coffee (which is for all guests). Make sure to pay at the property if you are a member of Marriott Bonvoy (prepayment means points wont be counted). Avoid facing the road, but note that the pool view can also get a bit noisy in the afternoon. Parking lot can get full at night, so make sure to grab a spot when you can. There is no room cleaning service.

The Property wasn't bad

I was charged by Booking.com for the room. And I was also charged by the hotel for the room. I was double charged and haven't been refunded.

Nice new hotel. Large room and comfortable bed. Even though it’s near the highway, it was really quiet. Staff were nice, except for……

When we checked in we asked for a late checkout. This request was granted, and the agreed checkout time was extended to 2pm. At 12pm cleaner attempted entry to our room. We explained the late checkout and a short time later we were told by the front desk that we had to vacate the room. As we walked past the cleaner she said a disingenuous “goodbye” and laughed at us.

I enjoyed the lobby and got to play multiple games with my family (Connect 4, Pool, and Cornhole). If you want an iron and board you can request one! The staff was very welcoming and friendly, they always greeted me when I came through the lobby. Shoutout to Shemeika, all the other staff members, and the manager. They were ALL super accommodating and the manager congratulated me on graduating! Such awesome employees, 0 complaints the customer service was 1000%!

There is no free breakfast + no microwave in rooms :( For the price paid, I wish some free breakfast was included. Plus, our rooms didn't have a microwave (there is one in the lobby though). Also, the refrigerator is small so don't bring lots of food that needs refrigeration because it might not fit. Nonetheless, the staff makes up for it, and the rooms are clean with a nice mounted TV!

Beds were comfortable, rooms were clean. Didn't visit the bar so I can't comment on that

Area looks a bit sketchy but the hotel staff can't help that. Cops were at abandoned hotel behind them. Rooms closer to the highway are noisy. If u want to sleep in late, ask to not be on that side

The staff was super friendly super helpful very courteous

Only two small complaints nothing really major could use extra luggage carts it felt like there was only one, and one of two elevators was down made it a little slow going up and down floors

Was breakfast included? If so I had no idea. Room was fantastic, great size, love the fresh youthful decor throughout the hotel, but the location wasn’t good. I can hear the freeway/overpass the entire night. Maybe invest in double pane windows in the rooms facing freeways.

Location and sound of freeway/highway/overpasses were a bit loud. Also, the Osaka Aloft hotel had an espresso machine in the room. I would have loved that in the Aloft, Austin.

Friendly staff, easy check-in, spacious well-equipped room, really cool personal touches. We just needed a night close to the airport for an early flight, but would have enjoyed staying a little longer.

I had some issues getting the temperature in the room right, the AC was a little bit loud, but in the end it was fine. It was one of the hottest days of the year though, and we were a little under the weather from lots of traveling, so that might have had something to do with it.

Right off the freeway! Several ways to get out despite traffic.

Unfortunately, at times birds fly into the building and land on the rooftop of the second floor awning. The staff explained they don’t have a ladder tall enough to remove them so we kept seeing it and feeling bad but it was a BEAUTIFUL location and ONLY saw it when we were getting on/off the elevators.
