We were there for a 5 day/night dance festival in house. Flew in from Vancouver Island, BC Canada. Our room was great, downstairs cocktails & bevies were great. Check in was quick & easy. Housekeeping were great, kept us stocked with essentials. Pool was wonderful. Location was super convenient. Front desk staff helped us out when we realized we had missed booking on extra night stay.

The only thing I can think to comment on, is the little happy hour restaurant/bar in the lobby, could maybe use 2 staff working on peak times. The one person was swamped, and that impacted our ordering food/bevies, the orders getting taken, and beverages & food took a longer time due to high volume of customers. One person is not as effective as two would, be a win/win

Beautiful hotel, the pool was so nice and relaxing

On Aug 3rd before my scheduled reservation I messaged the hotel on Facebook and asked if the rooms have microwaves. They replied saying they do not however I can call prior to my arrival and arrange to have one placed in the room. So I called Aug 7th and the service desk assured me she would let the housekeeping manager know to place one in the room. Upon check-in I got to my room and there was no microwave. I called the service desk they stated one would be sent to my room. I had to call several more times they finally brought one to me on Aug 10th during the very last few hours of my stay. I had to ask several times and it seemed to be an inconvenience for the staff.

Location worked as it was a cheap uber ride from COTA and the city. Handy for the airport too. Nice clean room. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was great. Loved those buttermilk pancakes! Heath in the bar is a real asset to the hotel.

Lack of power outlets in the room unless you unplugged the lamps. Plumbing not great. Toilet blocked twice and sink blocked too. Hotel feels like it needs a little TLC. Dinner options in the bar were ok but food could have been better and hotter

I absolutely loved this hotel! The staff were very friendly and made my check-in fast and easy. She even signed me up for Marriott rewards for even more discounts. The room are extremely comfortable and my balcony view of Austin was nice. The breakfast was great and the pool felt amazing in this crazy Texas heat! I highly recommend if you are in the Austin area. This will be my go to Hotel everytime we are in the Austin area.

We booked the room not knowing there was a chess convention that weekend. The lobby was very crowded and couldn’t find a place to sit in the bar area near the TV’s. Other than that the hotel is wonderful!

Spacious room, however not very modern and quite noisy due to nearby I35 and airport highways which on another hand make the location very convenient, especially if you travel by main road of I35 between Austin and San Antonio, with good free parking places and easy access to the road without any traffics. Generally it is a good value for money in Austin South.

Long waiting time at the reception (20 mins!) even after finally they found my booking. Furthermore, the staff at the reception gave me a card to room no 722 which... does not exist! After returning to the reception, nobody apologized or even just explained - they just gave me a card to a diff room no 1420 which luckily existed this time.

Clean, comfy bed. Enough space, refrigerator (needed it for insulin) Helpful staff, easy check-in/check-out. Was there for a conference. It had a beautiful outdoor pool area and I wished I had more time to enjoy that. There was also a small store for snacks and toiletries in the lobby.

The room had a "City View" was on a high floor. However the glass in window had been cracked and sealed over with tape. This frightened me a bit.

There is an enormous resort style pool; indoor connects to outdoor. Large fitness facility overlooks the pools. The room was very clean.

Extremely noisy especially during rush hour since the location is practically under a major freeway. The mattress is too soft for someone with back problems. Both pool & fitness close at 10pm. No free breakfast. Fee for parking. There are no stoppers for the bath tub. Lack of handicapped parking.

Since we last stayed here hotel had introduced a 10$ per day parking fee. Since this is a self-parking surface lot nowhere near center of Austin I don’t feel this is necessary. Only recently introduced and seems a cheap gimmick to get a few more dollars from guests.

Everything was comfortable.

Prior to our stay, we had called the hotel to ask about parking and they told us it was free. When I got there and after I gave the clerk my credit card was when she told me that there was a parking charge. Then she told me well it’s on the website. I never went to the website because I made a phone call. Her whole attitude almost made me leave.

The hotel was great! it was clean, the room was spacious & the bed was so comfortable & big! I had a room with a bathtub & the shower was also great. The staff were incredibly polite, helpful & welcoming, I had an absolutely great stay! I will definitely be back 👍🏽 The location is a 10 minute cab drive from Downtown Austin & it’s really easy to get to. The price was also very reasonable compared to other hotels in the area.

The only things I would mention is that the swimming pool wasn’t always super clean & it had small amounts of debris from the trees etc. but it was still swimmable. The last thing would be room service. I ordered it a couple of nights but I had to collect it from the bar. It was fine because my room wasn’t too far away but it would’ve been much more convenient to have it brought to the room.
