Check-in was super fast, and both the people at the front counter were genuinely friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the perfect size for the two of us. We were at the end of the hall on the first floor, and we heard hardly any noise from the hall or above us. The breakfast was decent each morning. It was too cold for the pool; however, we did enjoy a few minutes in the hot tub. We were here for the nearby Sherwood Forest Faire, and it was easy to get there from this location. My cousins live nearby, so I'm looking at this location to stay at when I bring my mother down to visit!

Liked it room needed some extra touches 1. Shower head has button all the way at the top in wheelchair or using a walker one would not be able to reach Please place it at sitting level. 2. No booklet for channels for TV or stationary for taking notes no booklet to share of city and places to eat or enjoy. 3. Freezer in ice box needs attention 4. Sitting chairs in room at table are very uncomfortable. 5. Bath mat needed for inside of shower, accident waiting to happen 6. Pool needs cleaning 7. Lighting in room needs to be brighter

The room was exceptionally clean and spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was consistently friendly and helpful. The location was ideal for my needs, especially since I was traveling for work. Additionally, they offer an elevator, parking, and breakfast, which made my stay even more convenient.

I was in Bastrop Texas to participate in the Corvette Invasion. Having registered late the sponsor hotel was booked up. I then called another hotel close to the sponsor hotel. They were going to charge me an outlandish price so I chose the Best Western as the next closest hotel. The rate was extremely reasonable, especially for the service they offered and I received. I highly recommend this location when staying in Bastrop.

Move the smoker's area further away from the main entrance

I hate to be critical but the eggs were awful both days. I have had hotel eggs and eggs cooked by many different people. These eggs tasted like they were cooked in dirty oil or dirty pans.

I request rooms next to each other and lower level. Best Western double bed are 2nd level and king lower level. This trip I needed 1 king and 1 double room, all understandable. The rooms are clean and comfortable the breakfast was great my stay was excellent.

I had a late-night reservation because I had to commute a few hours home after a 1 am landing at the Austin airport and wanted a place to rest. The staff was super accommodating, making sure I had a room ready, offering a late checkout, etc. Perfect stop for a very weary traveler. The bed was comfortable, the room was dark and quiet and I slept great. Every staff member I encountered was friendly. I usually don't leave reviews but I had a really good experience.

There was mainly only one thing that I did not like. During my last morning, me and my daughter were getting ready to leave in the restroom and noticed a roach on the mirror. It wasn’t a big one which was concerning. It was in between a baby and an adult size. That was the only one that we noticed but it was still a cause for concern a little bit.

The location is the main reason. Very close to my daughter's house.

I booked a handicap accessible room specifically to have a handheld shower head. While the room was equipped with a handheld shower. It did not function. The night staff was not able to repair it. It was an inconvenience for me, but if a wheelchair bound individual was given that room it would have been impossible for them to operate that shower in its current configuration.

Complimentary breakfast was amazing. All the staff were friends and professional.

Would rather there have been a vending machine for snacks instead of snacks being charged to our room from the hotel food pantry.
