Our room was clean, the bed was super comfortable (believe me for my husband and I that’s a thing) , bathroom was large and there were plenty of plugs ( we always need those ) . We were in the area for the Spring Round Top Antique Fair and the hotel was close by with lots of food choices nearby. The staff were really friendly and helpful with recommendations. Overall, one of our more pleasant stays .

My only complaint if I were to have one would be the breakfast. They need more variety and although I know they don’t actually cook on site maybe find more palatable egg options?

The receptionist on arrival and at departure (the same person) was not very helpful. She acted like she did not want to be there. A second person that was up and about doing things was very helpful. At checkout, the first lady would not split our bill 3 ways. (Again, she acted like she did not want to do it, not that she could not) We had no problem splitting the bill at the other hotels were stayed.

The breakfast was wonderful. Better than we have had at ANY hotel where it is provided free. Laid out beautifully, room was huge so plenty of room w/o feeling cramped and very clean.

The TV did not work in the room we were assigned so we were moved next door. All good except the refrigerator was not cleaned out and we could tell the items had been there for awhile. Certainly these things are not a big deal, but for $150 per night I expect the TV to work and total cleanliness in the room.

The young man at the front was extremely kind and caring and went out of his way to accommodate our needs. My brother had died and we were there for a funeral and family. We were so thankful to this young man to go above and beyond to meet our needs.

I ask for a room that was NOT at the end of the hall. I got a room at the END of the hall. That was the 5th time I ask for that and every time my request was ignored.

I lost my key and there was no problem getting another one. The staff member had already come up to my room to assist with my tv. I did have to show my ID to get another key. I put the paper packet in my purse but left the key in my room.

Breakfast was fine - just enough to get started for the day.

Hotel was quiet during the night - good location for anything needed.

Good selection. Clean. Food was prepared well.

There was some confusion about our reservation room cost, had to call booking.com, but it was corrected by the time we checked out.

It was very well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and clean. There was a nice assortment of food at breakfast.

I thought it was over priced for a weekday.

Very comfortable, good breakfast, good coffee. They even had decaf!

The remote didn't control the functions on the TV. This was an issue only because the TV was stuck on Zoom. I wished they would've let us check in a little early. There was an extra blanket wadded up in the closet.
