Central location, nice bathroom, bed was comfortable, night lighting at bed and bathroom was a great feature, view over Main Street

For a boutique upscale hotel we would have expected everything to be dusted like ice scoop in room, window sills, elevator railings to name a few and trash can overflowing with trash on ground probably isn’t a good impression.

Fabulous location and a great launching point to enjoy “First Friday’s” in Bryan. Good mix of updating an old property while maintaining the vintage feel.

Room a little small and noisy with trains and sirens around (although the desk warned us about the trains and offered earplugs).

This is a quaint hotel that is in a great location. The whole vibe was wonderful! Came for my daughter’s wedding and we had 4 groups of family members staying here and we all loved it! I stayed in the King Suite which has a King bed in the main area & a full/queen in the separate bedroom that has its own dressing area with sink/mirror) with two other people plus my grand puppy (Ring bearer 🐾) & it was perfect! Staff was great along with the small bar in lobby area. Has a Speak Easy bar that we didn’t get too bcuz of the Rehearsal/Wedding festivities ending so late but otherwise this was a great stay! Trains & all! ♥️

Loved the vintage/historical atmosphere. Hope coming renovations retain the best of that. Although I was too tired to partake, the bar with food and indoor/outdoor patio seating appeared very pleasant--casual, festive in a subdued-ish manner. Lively yet not too wild. Lovely really. Did I mention the whirlpool vintage claw-footed bathtub?!

Fridge positioned between doors of cabinet. I had to move it to open it. Tried to open curtains of one window and whole rod fell down. Note re non-smoking was a bit rude though obviously carefully worded. I asked for a non-smoking room, so clearly not a smoker. Tabletop where note lay was rough, peeled wood. Bare metal painted chair might feel nice in August but was cold seating in AC. I had to drape a towel over it to use it.

The place is very nice. The courtyard is so pretty to me. When you walk in the smells from the Bar and Grille are mouth watering. The elegant yet comfortable lobby and reception area as well as the welcoming from the sweet receptionist were just what I was in need of when my daughter and I walked through the doors. Then we were told they were upgrading us because they did not have a room available that we had chosen online, this was perfect for us anyways. The put us on the highest floor and we never heard another person the entire time we were in our room. The placement is perfect, we went for a walk through downtown, most of the shops had already closed but we were perfectly content with window shopping and the beauty of downtown at night. The beds, linens, duvet, and pillows have to be the most comfortable I have ever slept on. The bathroom was perfectly small and the tub deep and perfect for soaking, the water perfectly steamy.

The rooms are on the smaller side, It was perfect for my daughter and I but had we had any extra people it would not have been. I actually loved this for the situation we were in however if I was traveling with my husband and girls it would have been to small. We were in a double full however so that might have just been that room/floor. The price was a little more than I would like to spend usually. Though it is a vintage hotel, it is nice and the location is amazing, I don't find it a reasonable price for the stay in my opinion.

Beautiful historic building right in the middle of downtown. Good price and has a lot of character. The staff is sweet.

Furniture and decor in the room is rather shabby/ dated/ run down. Room had a strong smell (like crayons) but nothing a plug in air freshener couldn’t fix. I had to pay $40 to check into the room (that was already vacant and ready) 2 hours early. The place is awesome for the price just don’t expect perfect.

Have stayed several times previously. Like the Bryan old town area and like the La Salle

Tried to book restaurant Saturday night, was told no bookings but when I arrived fairly early one table had a “Reserved” sign and only one table mostfor my party of 3 available. As a house guest staying three nights I felt better service deserved

very friendly and polite staff. great location in downtown

train runs frequently past the hotel at all times of day. can get loud and unwelcoming at 3-4am when it wakes you up from a sleep. not fault of the hotel but it can get annoying. Parking is located along the street on each side of the hotel, no dedicated parking lot for the hotel

I love this hotel, it's really classy old school but with a new look , the room was setup nicely, great view it was perfect! Everything was walking distance from the hotel!

The location was good!

Staff not very attentive or even around! Booked a Queen room on booking.com got there and no Queen rooms available due to staffing issues.There was no clean Queen rooms available! Train is very loud going by properly 3 times night but they offer ear plugs! Older historical building that needs some TLC
