The staff was amazing and very friendly. When they realized I was a solo traveler using ride shares instead of a car, they moved me to a more forward room instead of one at the back of the motel. Daily housekeeping and just generally making sure you've got what you need while you're there. Very clean rooms outside of typical aging and wear from use.

It's a bit dated and could use some upgrades, especially on things like the outlets and old A/C units or the old carpets. They work ok but are just a bit worn from the years.

The staff at check in was amazing! The beds are super comfortable which is a must for me! You are literally a ten minute walk from the beach. You have a grocery store across he street as well. The place is great if you need to get away. Cable TV was awesome for me to watch the NBA playoffs!

It was a very comfortable n friendly place. Quiet n we felt safe. Just like a small neighborhood. We loved it n r going to stay there next time we go to Padre Island

Location! Location! Clean room, close to beach access, Italian restaurant nearby, sports grill, grocery, dollar general, pizza all within walking distance. Super cold AC. Friendly staff! Great Trip! We will be back!

It was a perfect stay for beach goers. Only negative was the lack of outlets/plug ins near the nightstand.

The owner/manager at this location is always super friendly and polite! Rooms are clean, but it’s old. For a single guy that comes down just to fish or family on a budget kits great.

It's a quaint little hideaway close to a lot of stuff.

I would like more security on the door, and some upgrades to the rooms would be nice.

Great, simple hotel. Clean and comfortable. Excellent location. Short drive to beach. Walk through parking lot to excellent Italian restaurant with delicious food.

Own parking spot right in front of room very easy for unloading and loading.

Only thing is that the shower rod was bent and slightly hanging so water would come out when showering and had to keep missing with the shower curtain to stay in a certain position to avoid water from leaking out
