Location

The deadbolt was broken. Low battery in remote control. Fluorescent Lightbulb above tv was not properly installed (I fixed it by installing the bulb correctly). Housekeeping staff knocked on my door the second day I was there. On the 3rd day, I asked the housekeeper for service because they were servicing the room next door, and a housekeeper had knocked on my door the day before. The housekeeper said I was not on the list. Management informed me that guests staying less than 3 days do not get housekeeping service. Bed is really uncomfortable. Blanket had a cigarette burnhole on it. Long black hairs were found throughout the whole room.

The rooms now have microwaves and mini fridges they did not before. The staff were friendly, and rooms were clean. The pool and pool area was clean.

I reserved my rooms 2 months before my trip and specifically asked for them to be side by side. I did call and ask after booking if they could be on the bottom floor, I was told everything I requested was available and not a problem. Well I showed up and my rooms were on the top floor and were on opposite sides of the motel. Also there was not enough towels in the room because we go fishing and to the beach and like to shower and out of our 3 day stay housekeeping only came once and gave us 2 clean towels. There was no bbq area available.

We stay at this location often on short trips...it is always clean, including the grounds. The long term corporate and construction workers that apparently stay here are always quiet and clean themselves..not what you see at other places! ifeel safe at this location as I often travel with my kids without my husband. We always stay at this facility because of the cleanliness and location. I especially like that the pool is always clean!! My only wish is that EVERY ROOM HAD A MICROWAVE AND FRIDGE!!

I didn't like the fact that there was a family with small children above our room that sounded like a heard of elephants and making extremely loud noise well into the night. Moving furniture, dropping heavy objects, banging,etc..This is the EXACT reason I book downstairs, because I bring my kids, and out of respect for others, I request downstairs. The only other minor issues were housekeeping came to clean while we were out & didn't leave clean linens after taking the dirty ones. They also inadvertently took one of my personal washcloths. No biggie...except that we had to go ask for towels.

The kids loved the pool and it was a nice refresher after the beach. Our room was nice and cold with clean sheets. I'm not sure what the deal is with the blankets but..... It worked. However we decided to stay 2 nights and they doubled the price the 2nd night .... Not cool.

I didn't like them doubling the price the 2nd night and coffee should be served all day.... Hey I can wish right

Location and price...and the lady at the front desk in the mornings! She was very pleasant and friendly....overnight clerk on Tuesday night NOT SO MUCH!! Kids LOVED THE EXCEPTIONALLY CLEAN POOL!!!

We had bugs...mostly water bugs in our room....constantly! We stay at this location very frequently and have NEVER had bugs before on any of our visits....possibly due to all the rain and high temps????? Ac worked like a meat freezer!!! Lol...

The ladies at the front desk. Good attitudes always greeting us. Rooms are clean. Parking lot is safe. Over the 3 motel 6 locations I went to in corpus this one if by far the best

It was perfectly fine. I’d love if it had more water pressure and heat in shower

I have been staying at this location for a few years now. The staff is always warm and welcoming

I love this facility, I know each place has its own challenges and difficulties but the staff has awalys been very accommodating with any issues that may have arrived.

Location was good , not too far from Padre Island. Close proximity to Walmart/HEB. Love that they are pet friendly so we were able to bring our Fur Babies with us on a short vacation.

The beds could be a bit more comfy if I am being honest

The staff was excellent and the price was very reasonable for a holiday weekend (4th of July). The room (263) was very clean - even cleaner than other higher hotel brands I’ve stayed in before. The only thing I’d knock them on regarding the room was that the weather stripping on the room door needed repair. I let management know and they added it to their maintenance list right in front of me which also impressed me. This little hotel is perfect for an overnight or weekend getaway to the coast.

I think the concrete on the property could use a regular pressure washing to get some of the dirt and sand off. It wasn’t horrible, but doing so would elevate the overall look of the hotel.

2nd day of my stay, the room attendant left fresh towels/toiletries and a note about the cleanup and not moving my personal belongings

I asked some staff for help to get into the pool and they spoke rudely in a foreign Indian language.
