Good size rooms. Breakfast options were great. Pool area was great for relaxing in. Great location for getting to the city centre and only a short walk (15 minutes) to/from Uptown Dallas

There wasn’t always staff on at the pool bar to order drinks or food. There was a phone there to order through room service but that didn’t connect through. The courtesy driver wasn’t always working, so just make sure you book a couple of days in advance.

Secure majestic structure built with grand style and opulence in mind. Solid concrete and marble construction with gorgeous interior wood columns and crown molding to accentuate the marvelous tall interior walls. The Library lobby is large and perfectly comfortable for large groups or an intimate get together. Beautifully decorated restaurant with white table cloths right across the hall. Secure one entrance location serving a variety of quality options. Very nice wine selection. All this, plus comfortable beds and an extremely well trained staff assuring your desires are met.

Beautiful property, spacious & comfortable rooms, very nice bartender, pleasant pool area. They were accommodating about letting me use the pool area after checkout as I had an hour or so to kill before an afternoon flight.

Check your bill carefully. They did not offer me a receipt at checkout, but when I noticed I was charged more than the online rate, I called to inquire, & found out I had been charged $48 for parking. I did not have a car there & no one ever asked me if I had a car, apparently I was just charged a fee. They did refund it after I called.

A beautiful building! Classic and elegant while still being fun. The staff were wonderful. Our mini bar wasn’t cold (we needed the fridge, not the contents), and maintenance brought up a larger quick cooling unit for us. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was large and spotless. There were plenty of coffee pods and glassware which was appreciated. Valet is pricey but super fast and friendly. We had a great time!

The Library Bar was our plan for Birthday celebrations. In the past it has always been a chill jazz piano vibe. That has definitely changed! It was packed with partiers clogging every aisle and corner. The singer covered a variety of genres, from Sinatra to Anita Baker to Garth Brooks. Although it wasn’t what we expected it was a fun night. Just be forewarned, it’s a new atmosphere at The Library.

The location is fantastic, this is in a very walkable area with lots to do nearby. Staff were kind and always helpful, and the bar, The Library, is extremely nice and has great drinks. The lobby is classic southern opulence, absolutely stunning, and the pool and poolside lounge are very nice too. Furthermore, our king room was so nice, it was sizeable, had a great bed, nice tv, ceiling fan, and great huge bathroom with an extremely nice shower. Excellent and very kind housekeeping staff.

There was no option for parking side from valet ($45 a night). Even that is not much of a complaint as the valet service was very good.

The hotel is beautiful, the location is perfect, we love the restaurant for breakfast. The guys at the valet are the best. The rooms are comfortable, the bathroom is good, they recently renovated it. They have a mini bar inside the rooms, ask for the keys. There are also a nice pool, great for the weather in Dallas during the summer.

The staff are not so friendly, especially the front desk. They are not helpful and barely smile. The toilet flush is really slow, all rooms have carpet that doesn't seem to be clean that often. The bed is kind of small too. And they need to improve the fitness center. The neighborhood is ok, but there are a fireman place nearby, so be prepared for siren noises, especially at night.

The rooms are huge and bed is very comfortable, lots of pillows. Curtains are excellent. We like it,and we like the library bar.

The WiFi never worked. The valet is mandatory, and we aren’t told that. we weren’t allowed to self park, even though the parking gate was up, so we parked… then the guy comes over and gets our keys, and leaves us with our luggage to carry in vs insisting to help. Just seems a little odd, when we have to pay the $45 to park, plus tips, that we drag out bags across the lot.

Stayed in Feb so didn't check out the pool or gym, But the King suite was nice and spacious and had a good view of downtown. It's a great hotel as it combined the old world style of a historic hotel with modern luxury ambiance. It's not the Ritz or the Crescent, but that's ok. It's unique, so we enjoyed the stay. Also has a lively downstairs bar.

I'm not a fan of the mandatory valet parking, let me park my own car if I so choose. And the room door was not well insulated, so hallway noise at night was a bit annoying.

Great little hotel with lots of history, classy from when you walk in to the rooms. The Library bar was a great place to listen to live jazz music and grab a drink before we ate Prime Rib at the restaurant in house. Rooms were large and comfortable great with a view. Staff was excellent and went above and beyond. Pool was great too.

No real negatives but I’d say we walked to Walgreen to get not overpriced bottled water & it is in the flight path for Love-field Airport so lots of plane traffic but could not hear them from inside the room.

The bed and the mattress were exceptionally good, to the point that I want to ask the hotel where they obtained it to buy the same for home, because I have always believe is something in which it must be top quality. I did not expect this quality in any hotel.

All was top quality, lots of taste in every aspect of the hotel, the restaurant and the best possible service.
