The Inn was in close proximity to our event so it was conveniently located. Our queen bed was very comfortable. The shower was hot with great water pressure. Towels and tub were bright white. Our air conditioner blew very cold air which was very welcoming after we had worked outside all day. We did get in the pool and enjoyed that as well.

The room smelled a little like pee. The furniture is old and faded. The bedspread looks like it's been around a long while, perhaps a few decades. The light in the ceiling would turn itself on and off randomly.

Location is convenient to restaurants, stores, pharmacy. The room has a nice size refrigerator and microwave.

Very friendly and accomodating staff. Drillin' Rig Restaurant next door.

Door lock was often unresponsive to key card. Owner has the intention to replace with all new locks in the very near future.

As with our previous stays, the Inn at Mexia is an outstanding place to stay.

Quiet and clean hotel.

We left too early for any type of breakfast. The check-in was smooth, efficient and friendly. The room was quiet, and the pillows were excellent. The water pressure for a shower was also superb. It was nice that they had a restaurant, essentially, right on the property. My wife and I ate there, and the chicken fried steak was very good, especially the gravy. It wasn't very crowded, and the prices both fair and reasonable.

I thought the bathroom was kinda smallish, but it served our purposes. It would have been nice if the pool was open. However, due to the coronavirus, that was to be expected.

Fairly new remolded rooms, kept clean.
