Good location, new facility, clean, friendly staff.

I was traveling with my wife and her service dog. Staff was very strict regarding adherence to service dog policy. I was taking the dog outside to pee/poop, but was told by staff that my wife had to take the dog out or we would be charged $300, as the service dog has to be with it's owner all the time. My wife has asthma and moves slowly, so I help with the service dog necessities. I understand the policies, but this is excessive. I booked this room through Bookings.com and thought this was a pet friendly hotel. This is definitely not a pet friendly hotel. The staff was friendly, but the adherence to these policies seems extreme.

What was NOT to like. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Once we were settled into the room, they gave a curtesy call to ensure everything was as we expected. Ruby did a GREAT job cleaning the room. Nice touch to have a card stating who did the work. Couldn't ask for a cleaner room! We accidentally left two very nice pillows, and they called to let us know we had left them and that they would keep them behind the counter for us to pick up on our way back through. Anytime we went to the front desk to ask a question, we were greeted with a smile and friendly attitude!

The only small thing was that the fan in the bathroom could not be turned off. Ran the whole time. Not a big deal, but wish it would have had a way to turn it off. Again, NOT a big deal. Overall, I would say I had to really work to find "a" thing that wasn't great!

The staff was very pleasant and the room was quite clean and smelled nice. The bed was comfortable.

It was fine, but I might suggest the breakfast being the same schedule as the weekend. It was my decision to sleep in a little bit rather than eat breakfast as I was exhausted. The refrigerator was a nice perk but had a high-pitched hum. The only real problem I encountered was that the bathtub/shower water handle was very difficult to turn. I almost gave up the thought of a shower out of fear I might break the handle. The safety handle was also in need of repair.

Staff worked out problems with Booking.com not communicating that room was pre paid. Staff jumped through hoops to rectify the situation that Booking.com created...

Booking.com communicating with Best Western and the facility so that I did not experience the hassle of providing the hotel staff with proof of pre payment...

The breakfast was good the Texas waffle iron was iconic. The bathroom was clean, thank god because I needed to give my baby a bath. And I felt let comfortable enough to use the bathtub for that so that’s good.

The pillows were not comfortable at all. The pillow cases felt like sand paper. And the bed was Lumpy.

The breakfast was good. I can not complain. The lady that did the breakfast was always available with a smile on her face and very peppy! Everyone here during my stay from the front door to the back door was excellent. Made eye contact and asked me how I was doing and responded when I asked them how they were doing. Very quiet and clean. I will definitely be staying here again. Than you for the great service that you have provided!!!

The bed was actually quite comfortable. The pillows were nice - not those fluffy looking pillows that aren't really pillows... You know, the ones that look comfy, but are just fluff and your head falls right thru to the mattress. And, there were plenty of them! There was good water pressure - even on the third floor. We were even greeted out front by the sweetest, friendliest little cat.

Breakfast didn't start early enough. We wanted to hit the road before 7, so we missed out on the included hot breakfast. I'm not sure what all it consisted of, but it would've been nice to at least see what our choices would've been. Like most hotels, the shower was a little crowded with the sloped bath tub sides and all the worthless "shelves" that sloped just enough that things fell off.

The room was extremely clean and very cool (good thing) when we arrived. The beds were comfortable. There were plenty of plugs in the room to accommodate all the charging we had to do with phones. The air conditioner and heat both worked wonderfully due to quick weather changes it was able to cool and heat our room pretty fast.

The floor tile in the restroom was missing caulk in places causing a few of tiles to click when you walked on them. We didn't particularly like the sink being separate from the restroom. Could hear people walking above our room but overall, the room was fairly quiet.

Clean, comfy beds. Breakfast was good, location was very close to the movie theater and walking distance to KFC. Staff was very friendly and kind.

The pillows were very small. The rooms were not sound proof at all, we could hear the guests next to us, their tv and the guests above us

To much bleach in the pool noisy fridge in the room and the tub squeaked air filters might need to be changed in the room got a sore throat the first night and got back home and was just fine
