The facilities were outstanding- pool was clean and the activities for children really made the stay even more fun! The staff was exceptional and food was great! Rooms were very clean ! Comfortable beds! Very family friendly! Highly recommend it- we had an indoor poolside room! Awsome!

The hotel was a bit dated could use a remodel- tubs had flaking and very worn out carpeting- didn't have a microwave. BUT it didn't matter because we didn't spend time in the room much! We didn't come to spend time in the room so it accommodated our needs! Great memories

Such a cool and unique place!! My husband even met the owner who seems very hands on and friendly! Love the atrium area and pool!

Only things I didn’t like is they don’t offer much for hygiene items like shampoo or conditioner or body and hand soaps. They have a teeny tiny bottle in the shower and doesn’t smell good. Usually I bring all my soaps and find that I didn’t need to pack those things because the hotel offers them. So the one time I don’t do that, I get a place that doesn’t provide that. The only other thing not liked is the pressure of water in the shower. Barely trickles out. Everything else was great.

The room was clean and comfortable and very convenient location. My husband had plenty to do while I was working and away from the hotel. The parking was super convenient and the location was client. The bed was comfortable and the wifi was strong in our room which really helped me catch up on work.

Would've liked to have had a microwave in the room as more than once, we had carry outs from the wonderful restaurants. We didn't mind it because they were sturdy and not very high/long, but, some travelers with issues carrying luggage would need to be sure to request an indoor access room to avoid climbing/carrying luggage up stairs.

The pool was okay but was very crowded with a family reunion the whole weekend which made it to where families could not enjoy the amenities due to being over crowded and half the people were not even staying there, the parking lot was filled with their vehicles and had to park far away from my room because of it.

I didn't like the fact there was no hot water when my kids went to take a shower. Even tho the river is outside the hotel there is no river access and what part you can see is nasty and smells. The restaurant food was not worth it. I got fried pickles and mushrooms and they were not even hot or crispy seems like they sat there for a while along with the melted milkshakes I got for my kids.

We appreciated getting an exterior room with outside entrance to be away from noisy indoor pool/play/dining area (great for families!). Breakfast was good too. Very nice and informative staff at check-in. Loved being able to walk downtown and to the nearby (longer walk for some) ballpark for a youth tournament. Good lighting and many windows for natural light in room.

We booked through Guest Reservations portal and missed the high fees, probably resort-like fees for the pool and activity amenities which weren't important for us.

The location is on the N end of town, right down the road from the hospital & a block from the downtown area. With the help of Maps, I was able to locate the hotel with no issues, at night. The night check-in lady was supremely kind & helpful, and in the morning, the complimentary breakfast was perfect. The premises is an older hotel but they have taken good measures to maintain it & keep it clean. It felt very nostalgic. The inside pool/rec area was a delight & very inviting. We didn't use any of the amenities, but we walked around & explored. It was mid-week and slow, so many rooms were empty but I absolutely loved the fact that they leave the lights & TV on w the window curtains open. It's just inviting & makes one feel safe. I would definitely stay again and/or recommend this hotel to family & Friends.

It's a bit dark on the outside but that's the area. Across the street / next door is the river & while it's not a grand sight, it was nice having all the sidewalks and benches and pavilions around to take a walk. The stairwells are pretty narrow but that's just me nitpicking, if I have to. Oh, there's only 1 elevator but much of the property is on a hill and has various 'ground levels'. Not a complaint but it may deter some.

The front desk was friendly and helpful and I can't say enough about them. I had had an extremely rough day that included changing a flat tire with no jack and by myself. It this heat. Needles to say, I probably looked and definitely smelled like a zombie by the time I got to the hotel. The lady up front didn't mention anything or act like she noticed anything, was extremely professional, and was as nice as can be.

Honestly, I was so worn out I just showered, smoked a cigarette out in the smoking area, then crashed out. Oh! Another good note about the staff, I over slept from having life kick my ass the day prior, and woke up to a gentleman knocking on my door at 1145. He wasn't upset or rude or anything, just curious If I wanted to stay another night . I told him I need 5 mins and I would be gone and he said no problem. Very cool staff.

Location was great. Food was great. Wish we had known first night that Friday’s breakfast would be over at 9 o’clock. We got there as it was being taken down.

Our room never got cleaned or made by your staff. My sister-in-law and I took our own trash and dirty towels out to the cleaning ladies and asked for new towels and toilet paper. Which they obliged.

The river walk and park were across the street from the hotel which made it a great location. Our room was very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. The swimming pool room was amazing. It was actually an open recreation/swimming pool room. I have never seen such an amazing setup. Breakfast was delicious and on the balcony over this recreation room. Very creative.

We have loved this property for years and years. We have been able to witness the changes and improvements taking place. The front desk, service staff, and food service personnel go out of their way to be EXTRA helpful. The outside areas, taken care of Nickia (I’m not sure of the spelling), a little red haired lady, has been transformed into an awesome landscaping miracle.

There is nothing that stands out that’s wrong with this property. EVERYTHING is continually being considered for improvement.
