Any bad reviews were done by people expecting a 5-star hotel. This is middling hotel, convenient and clean. The staff are friendly and very helpful. They even accommodated us by moving us closer to the lobby so my 91 year old mother didn't have to walk very far. All guests were friendly, as well. The hot breakfast was adequate and well provided. The room was large and provided enough space to relax at the end of the day. Cable was well provided, WiFi connection was good. I was pleasantly surprised, based on the previous reviews. It was nice.

The only complaint - no bacon! Wait, aren't we in Texas? Where's the bacon! lolol

We come here every time we come see our kids and grand baby. We love it here! Has always been very clean and accommodating. They even moved us rooms one time right after check in because he missed the note about the heater not working in our room. Fast and efficient! The lady at the front desk desk this last time was very sweet! Got complementary cookies for me and my husband! She made sure that I got the bigger one because my husband was picking on me! 😂 we most definitely will be back in a few months for our next stay!

Wish there was a little more protein options for breakfast.

The person at the front desk when we checked in was very nice. We had a late arrival and check-in took less than 10 minutes. Breakfast was excellent, both food preparation and variety. The room was very clean.

Two major drawbacks: Walls are paper thin and EVERYTHING could be heard in the rooms both beside and above us! The fold out bed was unbelievably uncomfortable, with ridges in some places, and deep depressions in others. Maybe ok for a child, but not for an adult. Also, there was a shortage of extra quilts when we asked for additional cover for the fold out bed. An extra blanket was provided. If we return, we'll be sure to ask for 2 beds.

Great location and quality of stay!

Mostly clean overall but there was a soap wrapper behind the bathroom door when we first got here meaning it was from previous people who stayed in the room. No big deal just kind of strange haha. Main problem for us was that we were hungry and the vending machine wouldn't accept our $ we only had our debit card and $10, it only accepts one dollar bills so we had to get out and go get nearby food.

We always stay here every time we come to Sherman. We’ve stayed here 4 times now. The staff is always very friendly.

We do wish the toilets were a little taller. Silly as it may be, it’s a far squat down! 😆

chalk in the bathroom needed removed and redone. Looks moldy. The hallways looked worn and didn't smell great. That could be improved.

Easy to find. Kiersten, at reception, very cheerful and helpful.( I should have paid attention to the spelling of her name 🫤) Breakfast very good. Bed/pillows comfortable. Loved the design of room and furniture. Rm 202 I think 😬. Only thing we would add is a hot tub for my husband.

Would have really liked a hot tub available. Other than that, very satisfied.

Staff was super friendly.

Someone siphoned the gas from my daughters vehicle. And the pool was out of order has to go across the way to use the other pool.So to avoid any complications we did not use it. Had I known May have not booked because did not know the pool was out of service.

Room was very clean and bed was very comfortable. The lady at the front desk friendly and helpful.

Wish they offered bacon at breakfast. The people in the room above us sounded like they were coming through floor into our room.
