BEACH IS WONDERFUL, BUT WE COULDN'T GET CHAIRS AND UMBRELLAS AT THE KIOSK. IT WAS CLOSED. THEY NEED TO WORK ON THE SAND SHOWER AREA AND THE WALKWAY! I know it was right after the spring break craziness, but I saw workers hanging around talking a lot...just sort of waiting for someone to tell them what to do.

Waterfall doesn't work anymore. plants and shrubs looked pretty sad in lots of places... I expected everything to be lovely.

The proximity to the beach, it’s a short walk down a path and you have great beach view from the resort restaurant, many places on the grounds, and from many of the rooms (including ours). The amenities were also better than expected: wonderful pool area, poolside bar, poolside hamburger stand, live music by the pool and restaurant, scores of palm trees that add so much to the ambience…overall a great experience and we’ll definitely be back!

The resort isn’t brand new but it’s a great value for the money and is kept up well!

I loved that it was so close to the beach. The pool area was clean and warm. The pickleball court was fun. The rooms were clean.

The beds were not very comfortable for 2 people. There was no microwave.

I liked the attendant at the front desk. She was so friendly and very professional. She took care of me in no time at all. Spoke to the cleaning crew, they too were so friendly and thanked us for staying at the Isla Grand. Bartenders were pretty busy and very friendly as well. The restaurant had the best seafood buffet!! The band at this club was out of this world! The pool is huge and it was right by our room so we really enjoyed swimming there. So many amenities and we utilized them all!

The one thing I wasn’t crazy about was we couldn’t afford a water view. That would have been the ultimate trip for me. Definitely will be a next time.

Cute and clean, loved the little bars throughout the property and it was a short walk to the beach. We had the pool & hot tubs, live acoustic music from the patio bar and the beach all practically at our doorstep (we stayed in the pool view room and it was very convenient to everything the resort had to offer).

The heated pool was not heated while we were there (September) and the hot tub at the heated pool area was also not functioning. The main pool was big enough with two hot tubs though. The TV in our room also did not work. We could have called the front desk but I wasn’t too concerned with the tv.

Clean rooms

Staff not friendly at all.. you need to hire people who really want to work there and be kind.

The room was very comfortable, room was clean and it was nice to be located next to the pool and beach. We liked that it was next to a few shops and a good restaurant also. Very convenient to things.

When we booked there was a picture of the high rise and thought we would be in a hotel. Did not know that the picture on bookings.com was of the condo's and not the hotel. Was surprised that we were in rooms that were not in the high rise but instead in these 2 story buildings with doors on the outside like a motel. Also did not know that there was some major renovation going on so there was construction noise all day long when sitting at the pool. Would have been nice to know this before booking.

My room was spacious with an excellent view and located very close to the beach. It was very windy, so I was happy to be in the corner room between two buildings because it was protected somewhat from the Highwinds. Everybody was very nice and helpful. Having live music for both nights of my stay was a huge bonus. I really liked the dining choices especially having four bars available.

The ice machine nearest my room was not working, so I had to walk down a flight of stairs and back up to fill my ice bucket. During my stay, I trapped a cockroach in one of my complementary water cups and left it for the cleaning staff to take care of, but I would’ve preferred not to find any cockroaches during my stay.

Our room wasn't ready at the time of arrival. Kids wanted to swim, so we had to go change in a public restroom upstairs. We had to walk all over the place to find one that wasn't locked. The pool water was a bit cloudy and itchy. We had dinner at the upstairs restaurant, and we were not happy with such slow service, while the restaurant was not busy at all. The pool area was a bit dirty, where people just left their trash lying around, and food spilled on the floors, which was attracting lots of aunts.
