Liked the location, the entrance is very bright and welcoming. The room was beautiful and spacious. Loved having a balcony to sit on with a drink in hand and just relax and enjoy the pool and beach view. Has a swim up bar with great drinks and a food truck you could order from. Staff was friendly. Stayed in at the hotel restaurant for dinner, drinks, and live music. And has beach access with outside restroom and shower. Overall great getaway.

The parking was a bit inconvenient. Parking lot shared by 2 hotels/condos. A bit if a walk.

We booked a condo- for 3 days and 4 nights. Was told there is no cleaning service for that amount of stay. BUT we went through a lot of towels- and all of the coffee. I asked for the towels to be picked up- and they never were, and I asked for new towels which were delivered several hours after pool day. The battery of the door handle also died- locking us out of the room for 45 min which was super annoying. Sitting on the floor and waiting outside the room.

They waived my parking fees, so that was great. But I feel that if people book with them, they should include parking and not charge them extra for that. They charge fifteen dollars per day for parking.

The new remodel was a nice touch, I felt like I was transported to Hawaii! The room was really clean, the employees were nice and I love the bar in the pool!

We had no chairs on our balcony, even when we requested some from a guy at the front desk our first day there. Would’ve been nice to sit outside and enjoy the free coffee in the room. Kids were splashing in the pool at bar area and getting water in our drinks, they should not be allowed near/in pool bar area since the pool is spacious in other areas and they aren’t 21+. other than that it was amazing!

Beach was great! Sandy and clean, there was a lot of people but spaced out comfortably. Elevators were fast. The bed was a good size, the people who work the front desk were always available and helpful. The food at the restaurant tasted good, the pool was busy but large enough to still be enjoyable, it wasn’t deep at all though. Locations great. Great view from balcony. I was able to lay things out to dry on the balcony (on chairs not the railing). Room keys were bracelets.

The restaurant was crazy slow. The bathtub was all scuffed and scraped up so it wasn’t enjoyable sitting in it. There wasn’t much water pressure in the bathroom sink. Had to sign an agreement stating I would not turn ac down past 68. Tv glitched every couple of mins.

The beach is beautiful with clear water and soft sand, and the pool is really nice with drinks flowing and music going every weekend. The restaurant is really nice too, especially the outside area with live music and a fire pit. We had an amazing time here, just relaxing, enjoying the atmosphere, and having fun every single day. If you’re looking for a place where you can kick back, enjoy good vibes, and never run out of things to do, this is it. Can’t wait to come back!

The room had some humidity issues, and there were visible spots on the ceiling. At the restaurant, the outdoor fans weren’t working, which made it less comfortable in the heat. The staff in general were friendly and helpful, but the initial greeting at the front desk wasn’t very warm, the lady who checked us in came across as a bit cold. After that, though, every other staff member we interacted with was excellent and made us feel welcome.

Our family of five spent four amazing days at Margaritaville Resort in South Padre Island, and it exceeded our expectations from start to finish. The staff were friendly, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the pool and beach activities kept the kids entertained the entire time. We can’t wait to come back for another fun and relaxing vacation.

The kitchen cabinets were pretty beat up, the dishwasher was rusted on the inside, and we had to go on a bit of a scavenger hunt for basics like coffee, dish soap, paper towels, and dishwasher pods. There was also no salt or pepper, which wouldn’t have mattered except that the resort said those items would be provided. It didn’t take away from the trip overall, but worth noting for future guests.

Enjoyed the Pool and Size / Layout of the room (we had the larger 2 Bedroom / 2 Bath Condo and worth every dollar!! Beach was AMAZINGl!!

Request for towels and bathroom toiletries needed to asked for multiple times to be completed on separate days. Was told by the desk that the requests were submitted and noted as "cleared" in the system when in fact they were not addressed. So a little frustrating when dealing with this at 10:00 PM when a request was submitted closer to Noon. Hot water could have been better in both showers but not a deal breaker

First, I was very happy to see the resort commit to going green and being environmental. The wrist bands we received at check in served as room keys and we could use them to charge items from shops to restaurants, and even pool towels, which you have to access with the wrist band. We returned them at checkout to be recycled. I really love the hand soap and lotion, which are mounted in dispensers by the sink. The handles on the sink faucet were cute! Whale tail handles! The shampoo and conditioner were really nice, and seemed high quality. I enjoyed the nautical accents in the room, with white and blue accents. There were several Margaritaville themed pillows for the chair and bed. Two spa robes came in handy! The little balcony had two Adirondack style chairs and a small table, although it was very warm and no breeze there. The outdoors were beautiful, with a huge pool that was sparkling clean. The landscaping was nice and had many tropical plants and Palm trees. There were many chairs and tables available and we enjoyed a margarita at the outdoor bar. At night we sat outside on the patio where they had live music. The private beach access is easy to use and not far to get to the sand. It was not the biggest resort we've been to, but it was much easier to get around. They had 3 elevators, so you don't have to wait too long to go up or down, even at peak times. There is a parking charge per night, but you can self park if you don't want the valet parking. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is a mini fridge, Keurig coffee maker, ceramic cups, and drinking glasses (not paper or Styrofoam). Oh, and there is a good sized safe in the closet. We enjoyed our time there and would definitely go back again!
