Great location, AARP rates, clean, amenities and friendly staff.

The freg ice maker never worked. I told the staff and no one came to the room to fix the problem. It was 90-102 temperatures in Texarkana, Texas. I had to go down to the lobby where there was a snack area for hotel guest. The hotel had a freezer with ice that guest could pick up. I even picked up ice from the reception area staff. The bathroom sink hot water level never was hot. It was barely warm water. I used the kitchenette sink for hotter water to wash my hands, wash my face and brush my teeth. The hotel staff could have moved me to different room but they didn't offer. These things should not happen to hotel guest.

The room itself was very nice, comfortable, and clean. There were numerous areas to walk my dog. Loved the free coffee bar along with a lot of “oops I forgot” products for purchase. Staff was excellent!

I was sad to see my dogs bowl covered with ants upon waking up. Yikes! While there were numerous areas to walk my dog, it was also covered with cigarette butts. Maybe a few receptacles would help. Also, if you are driving a large truck/trailer the available parking is almost nonexistent.

The front receptionist/Manager was awesome! I had to add an extra night not once but TWICE to my reservation. Joe, I think her name was, did it and did it easy and fast and nicely. We needed extra towels, they got them to us. Everything was awesome and the rooms were kept clean and smelled fresh daily while we were there. Location was excellent since prom was right at the convention center next door so getting my daughter to her date was a breeze. I loved the facilities and will stay again if I ever need to. I definitely will highly recommend it to others that visit in the future.

There was nothing to not like. It was amazing. Very pleased. Staff was on point. Cleanliness was awesome! Everything was very nice and well kept.

I had actually booked a room at another hotel but canceled because the manager was very rude and professional. I'm glad I did because Candlewood Suite's rates were better, and my dogs and I had a very nice stay. The staff was excellent: very friendly, pleasant, helpful and the facilities were very accommodating. I traveled with two dogs (very reasonable pet fee BTW) and requested either a ground floor or room close to the elevator to be able to take the dogs out quickly and they were very nice to accommodate our needs. Very pet friendly with lots of other dogs there. Although, they don't usually serve food, they did the day before and the day of the solar eclipse just to give their guests a treat. They do make coffee available which is very important to me, and they have a modest commissary where snacks can be purchased. There are an abundance of places to eat that are easily accessible so not having a breakfast was no big deal.

No complaints, just a suggestion: put in shower heads with extra handheld heads since the water pressure is a little low.

excellent location, easy to find even in the dark, clean rooms, comfortable, roomy, great bathroom products (lotion/shampoo, etc), fluffy nice towels, pet friendly, super nice workers--all around wonderful! Also, they had firm and soft pillows on the bed, AND they were labeled on the pillowcases! How great is that!? Highly recommend!

The place was clean, and the staff went above and beyond. I appreciated that so much. I will be staying there again next time I'm in town. I can't recommend this place enough. Plus, the bed was so comfortable I wanted to take it home.

I'm a 23-year-old woman driving across the country by myself, and I felt safe here. There was plenty of free parking around the hotel. It was great to stay one night to recharge, and it is a quite place. Plus, the staff lady is super helpful.

It would be nice to have breakfast available

Location was near the hospital where my daughter was. Miss Jo was very helpful in asking if I needed anything. The view was fine. I loved that they were asking about my daughters condition every time I walked in and called me by name.

The bed was to close to the wall, ice maker did not work in the room, television was so small, and so far from the bed and recliner you could not see the tv, you need at least a 55” television

Everything was so clean & nice! The staff was AMAZING! & super funny! Made me & my spouse very comfortable from the walk up! Thank you!! We will be back!
