Gorgeous secluded surroundings, with lots of green all around. The hosts even built a firepit to sit by in the evening as you looked out on the mountains and forest. The room was clean and all amenities were in great shape. The building itself was lovely, and there was a beautiful deck to sit on while you drank coffee the host made in the morning. The common space was lovely, and the hosts were friendly and available to help.

The only downside on the location is that you could hear some traffic noise from nearby Route 7, but other than that it felt nestled in the woods. Because of its remote location, there was nowhere close by to grab breakfast that I knew of, and so some simple breakfast options to purchase in the dining area would have helped, especially since the seating area was so enticing. There was a fridge and microwave if you wanted to bring something of your own. A list of local restaurants in the room would also have been nice.

A great motor court that has clean, well equipped rooms. You can pull up, of course, right to the front door to your room. This makes unloading a breeze. The location was nice and quiet and was a short trip into town. The rooms are well furnished a very clean. The bathrooms are also nice and even include locally made soap! The bed was comfortable and the room was also very spacious. The shower was nice and roomy with a very nice spray. The mini-fridge was a nice added amenity and they also had a dining type room in the main area with a microwave and a nice ice machine.

It was a little uncomfortable with the owners dog. The dog was not friendly and barked a lot. Being close to the office, we heard it a lot and it was not enjoyable. Also, we value our privacy and really don't enjoy people in our room when we leave for the day. When requesting no service, we were informed they would be entering the room to check up and empty the trash. Having some valuables with us, we were required to take them with us in the car for the day.

Everything was recently renewed, and you could see that the new owners (lovely folks) were upgrading things. The grounds are really nice, park like actually, great for stargazing or Perseid meteor watching. The motel was shielded from the road by a row of mature trees, so quiet enough. Very comfortable beds too. Lots of good restaurants in the nearby town. I wish we could have stayed another night or two.

Staff were wonderful at this charming place tucked back in the woods. The accommodations were decent - exactly what we expected for the low cost - and they had some unexpected nice touches like artisan soap and truffles. Took us 17 minutes to get to a spectacular short hike at Mt Equinox.

Walls were a little thin.

The property was breathtaking right away driving up! First impression was WOW! Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming and so inviting. We were able to bring our pup and that made us so happy. The room was clean and fresh and the bed was so comfortable! Vermont is a beautiful place and the Aerie Inn is a gem! We WILL be back.

We had a lovely room, very spacious and comfortable. The setting of the property provides an outstanding view of the mountain and the grounds are lovely. Cindy and Bob were very welcoming, really helpful and always available! They made our stay wonderful. Thankyou!

It would be nice if the communal area had proper crockery, and also a kettle to boil water quickly would be good

The place is very beautiful, you see the mountains around and there is a huge yard with flowers and chairs. Very clean, nice staff.

There is no option for breakfast, you need to drive to the town. But they do have a very nice kitchen, so you can bring your food.

Great location for travelling on Route 7 Surrounded by wooded hills which look very pretty in fall. Friendly and knowledgeable hosts. Room was comfortable with soft beds and good bathroom.

No space for toiletries in bathroom. No breakfast and many restaurants in the area are closed Monday, Tuesday and even Wednesday.

The location was amazing!! It’s not on top of a whole bunch of resorts, secluded and amazing views. Super nice ADK chairs to sit in and picnic tables.

I would’ve loved to have a microwave in my room but it worked out just fine.

We are so glad we found the Aerie Inn! We found it as a last minute booking and it is a hidden gem! We wished we got there sooner and could stay longer. The on-site staff were friendly and helpful and made us feel so welcome. We hope to stay there again!
