The people were so friendly and accommodating. The room was gorgeous; it was a beautiful mix of old architecture with brand new finishes.

The whole area of Newfane, etc. needs another restaurant. I hope the Inn brings it back. I can also imagine how lovely the pool must have been when it was in use. The only places I would suggest thinking about making changes are: 1) higher quality towels; 2) bathrobes in the room; 3) coffee maker in the front part of the Inn; 4) higher quality continental breakfast. BUT NONE OF THESE THINGS MATTER BECAUSE IT WAS SUCH A LOVELY PLACE ANYWAY! These are just suggestions. 10/10 5 stars

Lovely property, sweet staff, adorable room. They were very welcoming. They're working out some kinks with new management, so be patient! The breakfast was super basic (but good) as well, but don't expect a bed and breakfast. I'd stay here again if I needed to be in the area.

Our room key didn't work at all, and there was nobody to help. The front desk staff left early, and the emergency contact didn't respond. Also, the policies posted on the door of the room don't match what they told us in text, so just make sure to get things in writing. They're fixing the restaurant, pool, and gym, so I hope that gets going for them soon! Also, note that this is a rural area- there are little to no dining options, things close early/closed on Sundays, etc.

The hotel was very welcoming. The room was cosy and extremely clean. The receptionist was so welcoming and helpful. We had flight delays issues and could not get to the Four Columns Inn on the night we had booked. Thus I contacted the hotel through Booking.com and asked whether the reservation could be switched to a later day. The receptionist sorted everything and we managed to enjoy our room a few days later. Moreover, the hotel managed to get some gluten-free bread for breakfast!

The breakfast was good. The staff was very friendly and nice. The place was very clean . Everything in our room was very nice and quaint. It did take awhile to figure out the air conditioner.

The breakfast didn’t have enough boiled eggs at 9:30 a.m. The pictures on the internet showed a restaurant and there was no restaurant. They should have disclosed that information before you book. The garden needs to be better taken care of. There were a lot of weeds.

The room was very comfortable! Bed was great. Good lighting. Lots of room. Bathroom would have been better with a higher toilet.

a little more thought could go into breakfast. The hard boiled eggs were excellent but the rest was pretty boring. One needs decaf coffee. Can't recall if there was any.

Adorable room, super comfy & clean, friendly staff, lovely Continental breakfast. I would definitely stay here again. It was really a pleasure.

A little noisy - thin walls - so if you're a light sleeper you might want to bring a white noise machine. It didn't bother me because the bed was soooo comfortable.

The property was just picturesque New England. The grounds were beautiful with sprawling gardens and multiple ponds. As for the rooms each one was unique and well put together.

I would have loved to get to see the property covered in snow but I will just have to wait on that one!

Breakfast was a simple serve yourself type with some local yogurts, freshly baked fruit bread and coffee. Location is quite and remote.

The room was very hot (77F): the radiators were ON and could not be turned off using a sensor on the wall of the room.

We had an amazing stay at the Four Column Inn, the hotel is a little gem, really!! And the staff is adorable. We went with our baby and everything went perfectly. unfortunately, the restaurant was closed at that time but hopefully, they will find a new chef soon. the garden is so beautiful and the trail behind the hotel is a perfect morning exercise. Contactless and really easy check-in and out. We would definitely go back there.

it's an old house so the walls are thin, but there is nothing you can really do about it, just be an early bird.

A beautiful New England site in a lovely, small town.

The restaurant was no longer operating. Given that the place was noted for its cuisine when it first opened, it’s sad that it lost this piece of its history.
